The 2020 Brut sparkling opens with aromas of golden delicious apple, pear, and brioche. On the palate, fine mousse is accompanied by a smooth richness and velvety bubbles. Flavors of apple compote, pear, hazelnut and hints of walnut linger on the finish. 

The fruit for this wine comes from our best block of Sauvignon Blanc on the estate. The musqué clone makes this a highly aromatic wine, with tropical guava, peach, and nectarine notes. The palate is bright, with lively acidity and flavors of confectionery pineapple meringue accented by grapefruit and citrus on the finish.

The 2021 Annie Dyer Pinot Noir opens with aromas of brambled boysenberry cobbler, black pepper, chamborde liquor, and dark plum accents. On the palate, this wine shows great depth featuring plenty of dark fruit. Blackberry, boysenberry, and earthy pomegranate are complemented by hints of peppercorn and cocoa on the finish.

This wine opens with leather, cedar, plum jam, molasses, and mocha on the nose. The palate is juicy upfront with warm marionberry syrup and full, velvety tannins. Notes of butterscotch linger on the long, decadent finish.

PreVail Back Forty entices with a delicious array of intense aromas and flavors including toffee, currants, leather, hints of nutmeg spice, caramel, vanilla, ripe plum, and toasty oak notes. This full-bodied wine has a long, rich finish and smooth, yet structured tannins. 

Mouthwatering aromas of kiwi, lemongrass, white peach, citrus and jalapeño fill the nose. The palate is bright and refreshing with notes of pink grapefruit and lime. A long creamy finish makes this wine an excellent pairing for raw oysters, goat cheese, or octopus salad.

The 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of four of the five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness.

This wine has beautiful aromas of crisp green apple and guava with lively citrus zest. On the palate, this wine is bright, refreshing and mouthwatering, with bold acidity, notes of kiwi fruit, and lemon-lime citrus zest on the clean, crisp finish.

Our 2021 Courtney’s Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay has mouthwatering aromas of confectionery lemon curd and toasted brioche. The palate is bold and complex with plenty of richness from its time in oak. Hints of toasted graham, candied pineapple, lemon zest, and rich notes of caramelized sugar carry this wine through the finish. We recommend allowing the wine to evolve in the glass for a few moments and pairing it with a rich dish, such as chicken marsala.

PreVail Lookout Tree is a bold, yet refined wine. An enticing bouquet of molasses, raspberry sauce, sage, and tobacco lead to layered flavors of cassis, plum, and leather. The complex profile and forward tannin structure will allow this wine to evolve and age beautifully for many years.

Expressing the cool Carneros region, the fragrance of this pinot noir wafts with delicate notes of wild strawberries, dried rose and sage, followed by savory smoked meat and black tea. On the palate, the wine is round and open-knit, with mouth-filling flavors of red currant and cherry overlaying a core of dark fruit woven with a subtlety of sandalwood and earthy minerality. Our 2024 Rosé of Malbec is a vibrant and fresh expression of Russian River Valley fruit. A beautiful pale pink color in the glass, this wine exudes enticing aromas of grapefruit, nectarine, honeysuckle, and caramelized sugar. Flavors of lemon curd, golden delicious apple, and ripe strawberries dance on the palate. This is the perfect spring and summer sipper.

Sourced from vineyards with well-drained soils that produce exceptionally concentrated fruit, this merlot was aged for 17 months in French and American oak, prior to blending with 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Dry Creek Merlot opens with aromas and flavors of dried cherry and plum, joined by black fruits and savory notes of lavender and licorice, with hints of white pepper. Well balanced with good structure and a plush mouthfeel, with evident tannins and a lingering finish.

Vibrant, bright and aromatic with notes of tropical fruit, green apple and citrus complemented by marzipan and honeysuckle. The wine is persistent on the palate and creamy on the finish. Hints of toast round out this beautiful, balanced wine.

Our 2019 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is a bold and hearty wine. Aromas of dried rose petals, crushed raspberries and briary fruit are present among opening. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy flavors of fresh raspberries and strawberry marmalade and notes of sweet spices. A hint of toasty oak lingers on the finish.

The 2021 Courtney Chardonnay opens with French Chablis inspired aromatics - bright citrus zest tones, racy minerality, and nuance of toasted hazelnut. On the palate, this wine has bold acidity that pairs beautifully with fresh oysters or a myriad of seafood. Lean and light, with hints of faint white peach and chalky minerality make this the perfect, refreshing chardonnay for your summer beach-side sip by the glass.

A well structured and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with inviting aromas of huckleberry, cedar, black pepper and a hint of dried sage. On the palate, bold tannins are balanced with flavors of black currant and dark cherry with savory notes of tobacco and graphite. While approachable now, it will age beautifully over the next 5-10 years.

This cabernet franc has beautiful aromatics of ripe mountain blueberries and fun floral undertones with light hints of graphite that lead to flavors of wild blueberries, dark toffee, chocolate covered raspberry and light roasted coffee. A juicy, berry driven wine with big, chewy tannins, lovely florality and a nice dry finish.

Our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of white flower, passion fruit, guava, honeydew, citrus, and a slight touch of oak. The palate is beautifully balanced, offering crisp, balanced acidity, smooth texture and Meyer lemon on the finish.

The Eighty-Five Fifty-Five Cuvée is an exuberant expression of Sonoma County, with buoyant aromas of crushed boysenberries, black plums and blueberry preserves wafting from the glass, followed by savory hints of smoked meat, black pepper and dried herbs. Behind the wine’s stature lies a generosity of ripe, brambly, black and blue fruit, expansive in the mouth, followed by notes of chocolate, spice and earthy minerality. This full-bodied, chiseled and balanced wine leaves a persistent, mouthwatering finish.

This deep, velvety wine made from Black Muscat and Muscat Canelli grapes has concentrated aromas of fragrant sweet rose, fresh wild blackberries and Bing cherries with hints of warm spice. On the palate, it bursts with intense, luscious blueberry flavors and toasted pie crust.

This beautiful representation of Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir opens with aromas of dried thyme, red cherry cola, and black pepper accents. Bright acidity lifts confectionery fruit flavors of dried cherry and fresh red plum, finishing with nuance of boysenberry and pure vanilla extract.

Our 2021 Reserve Merlot offers aromas of vanilla bean, nutmeg, toasted graham cracker, and plum. The palate exhibits ample dark plum preserve characters with velvety tannins, and a decadent mouthfeel. Brown sugar notes carry through on the finish.

The 2022 Heritage Red has a strong Cabernet Sauvignon base, with Petit Verdot, Malbec, and a small amount of other reds artfully selected for the  final blend. This wine offers seductive aromas of milk chocolate, dried cherries,  leather and tobacco. The palate is well-balanced with concentrated flavors  of pomegranate, raspberry, vanilla bean, and cinnamon. Silky tannins create  an elegant mouthfeel and long-lasting finish. Enjoy with a black & blue  cheeseburger or beer-braised bratwursts.

The 2021 Trésor opens with aromas of black currant, lardon, anise, and hints of burnt sugar and lavender. The palate is round, with upfront flavors of Santa Rosa plum and cedar, supported by evolving texture that leads to a strong, lingering finish.

Our 2021 Estate Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is silky with a balanced acidity and soft tannins. Aromas include wild strawberry, black cherry, cranberry-spice, and forest floor. Ripe cherry and pomegranate dominate the flavors, along with savory hints of mushroom, clove and baking spices.

The 2022 Siena opens with aromas of raspberry, cola, caramel, mocha, and chocolate ganache. On the palate, big, juicy plum flavors are accented by baking spice and a hint of butterscotch.

This quintessential cool climate pinot noir has lush aromatics of strawberry jam and fudge covered bacon with hints of baked cookie crumbs, sassafras and mocha. Rich flavors of pomegranate, bright cherries and cola are balanced by a hint of caramelized sugar and vanilla. This big, muscular wine is bright yet full-bodied with structured tannins that is beautiful now but will only get better with time.

Our 2023 Proprietary White Wine opens with a bouquet of grapefruit, honeysuckle, and white peach. The palate exhibits a beautiful compilation of melon and fresh herbs with a distinct minerality. Enjoy this fresh and delicious wine with barbequed oysters or garlic prawns.

The 2017 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and others intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Bright, clean, and refreshing are the defining qualities of this wine. Characters of white peach, citrus, kiwi-lime, honey, lychee, and orange blossom are lifted by plenty of fresh acidity. Notes of apricot and Meyer lemon linger through the crisp finish.

Aromas of red fruits, tea leaf, hibiscus and caramel fill the nose upon opening our 2020 Handmade Merlot. The palate is juicy and filled with flavors of strawberry and sweet cherry with a fresh acidity. The French oak provides structure and hints of toasted spice, cigar box and vanilla. A viscous mouthfeel and smooth tannins linger on the elegant finish.
