 The deep garnet-purple colored 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Cherryblock offers wonderfully complex scents of crème de cassis, wild blueberries, plum preserves and incense with nuances of lilacs, cigar box, beef drippings, wood smoke and tilled soil. Full-bodied and jam-packed with tightly wound black berry preserves, spice and savory layers, it has a rock-solid frame of grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

The 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. Our Reserve wines are crafted by selecting the vineyard lots from throughout Sonoma County that offer the most generous fruit expression and ability to age. This Reserve Malbec bursts forth with generous aromas of blueberry pie vanilla and white pepper. The nose leads to a lush palate of jammy dark berries and huckleberries framed by sweet toasty oak and leading to a long, rich finish.

The tannins from this vintage were more intense than usual due to the smaller crop size, leading us to blend in a little more Merlot than is typical. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.
