This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It opens with beautiful aromas of lush black currant fruit and accents of kalamata olive. On the palate, the wine has 
bold tannin that ripple into chewy, chalky notes of cedar, pomegranate, and earthy graphite. Decant this wine to showcase its layers. Serve with steak frites.

PreVail West Face is an exquisite, full-bodied wine with savory aromas of bacon fat, violet, ripe plum, and a hint of anise. The palate is teeming with bold fruit flavors, caramelized berry pie, and mocha lingering on the generous finish. This wine’s bold profile will continue to evolve and age beautifully.

The wine opens with perfumed aromas of tropical guava juice and fresh nectarine fruit. On the palate, it has vibrant acidity, with round, rich viscosity and notes of ripe yellow peach, candied grapefruit, nectarine, and creme on the finish. This is a highly versatile wine, excellent with brunch, a summer sushi feast, or a hearty Thanksgiving spread.

PreVail Lookout Tree is full-bodied, elegant wine. Cedar, cola, vanilla, caramel, leather, white pepper, and blueberry aromas waft from the glass. Rich cherry jam and layers of plum with black tea fill the mouth, finishing long and refined.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and intense with aromas of caramel, cocoa, cinnamon, and dried currants. The palate is plush and round, showcasing ample tannins with dried cherry, plum jam, and mocha flavors. This wine has wonderful grip and a superbly long finish.

The 2023 Sangiovese is a beautiful red offering layers of fruit and spice. On the nose, cherry and plum are accented by brown spice and a touch of vanilla. The palate adds savory herb and toffee characters amid soft, silky tannins. This is a wonderful choice to enjoy alongside fresh pasta with tomato, basil, and garlic, or pork tenderloin in cherry compote.

The 2018 Reserve Malbec is a bold representation of the Sonoma County AVA. Upon opening, dark, brambly fruit aromas coupled with graphite, spice notes, black licorice, clove, and a hint of violet fill the nose. This wine is full-bodied and richly textured with soft acidity and velvety tannins. Pair with Manchego or blue cheese, smoked duck breast with cherry compote, or braised lamb shank. This wine is expected to continue to develop in bottle for the next 5-7 years with proper cellaring.

The 2023 Valleyview is the finest expression of the vintage across our estate vineyards. Vibrant Bing cherry, black cherry, and subtle baking spices weave through the vibrant, refined palate. This wine is the epitome of grace and structure. Elevate your next beef tenderloin, mushroom pizza, or seared tuna with this exceptional wine.

The 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse from the first swirl of the glass. Ripe, brooding, dark fruit with graphite and pencil shaving aromas finish with toasted oak and caramel. On the palate, abundant black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and notes of leather culminate in a robust, yet smooth and lengthy finish. This wine pairs beautifully with Korean bulgogi, lamb and beef lasagna, or flank steak with chimichurri.

The 2022 vintage opens with black cherry, cassis, cedar, and toffee, with subtle notes of graphite and black tea. Bold yet smooth and refined, the palate delivers a harmonious interplay of layered, bright fresh fruit that is plush and deeply concentrated. This is an incredibly food-friendly Cabernet Sauvignon and pairs beautifully with wood-grilled steak with braised wild mushrooms.

Our 2024 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris offers a fragrant bouquet of ripe pear, white peach, green apple, melon, and flowers. Layers of stone fruit on the palate are lifted by bright acidity, exhibiting remarkable depth and balance.

Our 2023 Gravel Bed Red opens with dark fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry wrapped in a delicate floral bouquet. The plush palate delivers generous layers of berry fruit framed by integrated toasted oak. Smooth, subtle tannins add fullness and length to the finish. Serve with charcuterie or peppercorn-crusted ribeye with thyme-roasted potatoes.

Each offering of this unique reserve blend shows a distinct personality, influenced by the selection of varietals, growing region and vintage. The 2022 opens with ripe, brambly aromas of blackberry, black cherry, baking spice, and a hint of savory herb. On the palate, dense layers of dark, ripe berry fruit is laced with sweet vanilla. This wine is juicy and generously textured with an extensive, velvety finish.

Our 2023 Streamlet is a decadent delight. On the nose, this wine offers berry pie, candied pecan, slate, and salal. Dark fruits on the palate are artful and approachable with a touch of minerality and a long, juicy finish.

Our 2021 Deepsown Pinot Noir is synonymous with elegance and finesse. Aromatics of redolent cherry and raspberry are accented by notes of allspice, mocha and Douglas fir tips. The palate draws you in with flavors of baked strawberry tart and hints of spice with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Rich and seamless, this wine is very transparent in that it reflects all aspects of its crafting: from the climate and soil, to the vineyard and through the slow and gentle fermentation.

The 2022 Petit Verdot offers freshness on the nose - featuring aromas of pomegranate molasses, clove, vanilla, toast, plum, and blueberry. The medium to-full bodied palate is superbly structured, offering blackberry, cola, and toasted almond with a touch of violet.

This wine is a nod to our Sonoma County heritage, offering baked apple and pear with accents of flower, buttercream and soft meringue. Elegant texture and concentration on the palate make this Chardonnay a terrific pairing for fresh Dungeness crab risotto or roasted chicken with creamy mushroom and garlic sauce.

SOLO is an elegant and refined Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas and flavors of red cherry, pomegranate, pie crust, and vanilla are supported by ample tannins and bright acidity. This is an age worthy wine capable of elevating any special occasion or meal and will continue to evolve for years to come.

Our 2023 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and rich, with dense layers of black fruit and cherry cola swirling amid ample rustic tannin. 

Our 2023 Estate Chardonnay offers a beautiful bouquet of apple pie, baked bread, pear, peach, honeysuckle, flint, and vanilla. The palate displays excellent weight and creamy smooth texture with crème brûlée, pineapple, baked tart, and nutmeg carrying it through the finish.

The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc offers a light, refreshing style that is an excellent choice for warm summer days. Aromas of white flower, citrus, honey, and lime zest lead to flavors of fig, and cut grass with pineapple on the bright, zesty finish. Enjoy this wine sipped as an apéritif or paired with summer fare such as roasted salmon with risotto Milanese and asparagus.

Our ‘Ode to the Beast’ is a tribute to where it all began for us, bold Cabernet from Sonoma County. This small-lot Cabernet was crafted with a borderline obsessive attention to detail, with only the best barrels selected. Our most beastly wine, it is made only for the bold at heart. Our 2022 Ode to the Beast Cabernet Sauvignon opens with intense aromas of baking spice, molasses, milk chocolate, and cedar. The palate offers decadent flavors of plum preserves and mocha with supple tannins. Enjoy now or cellar for 5-15 years for additional complexity. 

Our 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is a bright and refreshing wine with aromas of grapefruit, lime, and stone-fruit. The palate offers abundant tropical flavors with notes of lemon zest and melon, lifted by crisp acidity and minerality on
the finish.

The Chardonnay was gently pressed, allowed to settle, then racked to a combination of French oak barrels (40%) and concrete egg (60%) for fermentation, followed by 6 months of aging. A variety of yeast strains and the completion of malolactic fermentation impart complexity and richness. The resulting wine offers golden delicious apple, pear, starfruit, and spice with a full mouthfeel and beautiful finish.

The 2022 Lancaster Estate Cabernet Sauvignon showcases a deep, inky purple color and offers an enticing nose of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, complemented by hints of cedar, tobacco, and a touch of graphite. On the palate, it delivers a rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of succulent dark fruit, cocoa, and subtle notes of espresso. The wine features well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, culminating in a long, persistent finish with lingering hints of spice and earth. Overall, it reflects a harmonious blend of power and elegance, promising further development with age.

Our 2022 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant expression of the very best of the varietal grown on our Alexander Valley estate. A light perfume of lavender flowers leads to a bold yet refined palate. Robust tannins and flavors of black currant and dark chocolate fill the mouth, concluding with a soft, lingering finish.

The 2023 Reserve Pinot Noir is a stunning wine made by winemaker Greg Freeman that captures the essence of Chalone Vineyard's distinct terroir in a complex, yet refined style. Opulent aromas of bright, crushed black cherry, blackberry preserves, creamy vanilla, and cinnamon lead to a medium-full bodied plate that is an expressive and superb representation of the varietal. This wine offers a full and gratifying mid-plate and generous, lingering finish with hint of violet, clove, and a subtle mineral note. 

Our 2023 Estate Red opens with savory aromas of blueberry, blackberry, cigar box, tobacco leaf, black tea, and an underlying earthy/herbal tone. The palate is dense and complex with black cherry, vanilla, and roasted coffee bean flavors laced with supple tannins. This wine will age beautifully over the next 15 years.

The 2023 Founder’s Block reflects 100% native yeast and is unfined and unfiltered. This “hands off” approach allows the grapes and vines to shine. After 12 months in 100% new French oak, the Founder’s Block Chardonnay exhibits a creamy richness, marked by apricot, honeysuckle, and slight minerality on the long, decadent finish.

Our 2023 Barrel Select Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of white peach, jasmine, and a subtle minerality. Bright, fruity notes of Meyer lemon and nectarine with hints of vanilla and cream, which are complemented by a rich texture from the oak aging and crisp, lingering finish. A perfect wine to enjoy by itself or to pair with oysters or shrimp.

The 2022 opens with aromas of cigar box, black cherry, black currant, leather, toasted oak, and baking spice. The palate is dark and brooding, offering dark berry flavors, cherry cola, dark chocolate, and plum cedar notes. It is a deep, intense, powerfully built wine that captures the heart and soul of our stunning estate.

This Pinot Noir opens with aromas of spiced black cherry cola, dark plum, and black pepper. On the palate, it has great concentration, bold tannin, and prominent oak tones of toasted vanilla, marzipan, and bourbon. This bold Pinot Noir will continue to evolve with proper cellaring and should be decanted in its youth. Enjoy served alongside a peppered steak for the ultimate indulgent feast.

Bright and inviting, the nose opens with fresh white peach and nectarine and slight brioche notes, layered with a delicate lift of grapefruit zest and a touch of citrus blossom. The palate carries a sense of quiet richness and focus, showcasing white peach, subtle grapefruit pith, and a faint note of currant. Emelia’s Cuvée Chardonnay opens with mouthwatering aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, pear, golden apple, vanilla, and baking spices. The palate exhibits a luscious profile, offering baked apple, spiced pear, nutmeg, and butterscotch.

The 2023 Zinfandel is the textbook definition of Sonoma County Zin. This wine opens with intriguing aromas of plum jam, raspberry, cola, white pepper, and cocoa. Full and round tannins build beautiful texture to flavors of blackberry cobbler and vanilla bean. It finishes long and juicy.
