This wine opens with aromas of hazelnut, toasted meringue, and accents of pineapple. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, showcasing notes of rich honeysuckle and pineapple upside down cake with light toasted oak on the finish.

Our 2023 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, decadent wine from it’s dark red color to it’s full-bodied structure. On the nose, there are concentrated aromas of ripe blackberry and cassis interlaced with vanilla and subtle spice notes. The palate is elegant and fruitful - black cherry, graphite and dark chocolate swirl amid velvety tannins A touch of sweet oak is present on the long, lifted finish.

Aromas of rich, juicy Marionberry with accents of black cherry entice the senses. On the palate, this wine has a juiciness reminiscent of ripe blackberries, accents of red cherry, pomegranate fruit, and notes of spiced herb. It is balanced and smooth on the finish with notes of toasted French oak.

On the nose, passion fruit, lemon curd, and tangerine lead to a balanced and approachable palate with bright acidity and a rich, juicy finish with a touch of minerality.

Our 2023 Estate Chardonnay offers a beautiful bouquet of apple pie, baked bread, pear, peach, honeysuckle, flint, and vanilla. The palate displays excellent weight and creamy smooth texture with crème brûlée, pineapple, baked tart, and nutmeg carrying it through the finish.

This 2022 Syrah exhibits an especially dark hue in the glass indicative of it’s bold profile. Aromas of violet, leather, blackberry, and well-integrated French oak spice lead to a densely layered palate. Abundant dark fruit characters and velvety tannins will age beautifully for years to come.

Our 2021 Deepsown Pinot Noir is synonymous with elegance and finesse. Aromatics of redolent cherry and raspberry are accented by notes of allspice, mocha and Douglas fir tips. The palate draws you in with flavors of baked strawberry tart and hints of spice with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Rich and seamless, this wine is very transparent in that it reflects all aspects of its crafting: from the climate and soil, to the vineyard and through the slow and gentle fermentation.

Our 2023 Robert’s Vineyard Pinot Noir is a textbook cool-climate Pinot. Abundant red fruit characters - raspberry, pomegranate, and dried strawberry are complemented by hints of vanilla and dark chocolate on the palate. True to the terroir, earthy notes and tea leaf linger on the finish. Pair with wild mushroom pasta or herb-crusted pork tenderloin with a red wine reduction.

On the nose, our 2019 Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enticing aromas of blackstrap molasses, mint, cinnamon, blueberries and espresso. These notes carry through to the palate with additional flavors of white cherry and green plum. Bright acidity and youthful tannins give this wine ample aging potential.

The 2023 Patrick’s Chardonnay opens with a mouthwatering bouquet of ripe apple, dried pear, and a hint of lime wrapped up in toasted marshmallow and butterscotch. The full-bodied palate offers creamy texture and vibrant acidity, bringing out layers of tropical flavor. Minerality lingers on the long finish. This wine is an excellent option to serve with classic fettuccine Alfredo, or garlic risotto topped with seared scallops.

 Our 2023 T Anchor Chardonnay opens with aromas of candied lemon, clover honey, and toasted graham. On the palate, this wine is sophisticated with balanced acidity and a rich mouthfeel. Flavors of lemon curd and creamy texture are complemented by moderate confectionery notes and accents of toasted vanilla bean on the finish.

This wine was especially unique as we worked with Proprietor Carol Ann Foley to create her “perfect” Chardonnay – a fresh, round, fruit-forward, and balanced, yet lighter style with notes of fresh red apple, honeydew melon, lemon, hints of citrus and rose petal. The crisp, bright entry is beautifully balanced with flinty minerality on the finish.

The 2022 Lancaster Estate Cabernet Sauvignon showcases a deep, inky purple color and offers an enticing nose of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry, complemented by hints of cedar, tobacco, and a touch of graphite. On the palate, it delivers a rich, full-bodied profile with flavors of succulent dark fruit, cocoa, and subtle notes of espresso. The wine features well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, culminating in a long, persistent finish with lingering hints of spice and earth. Overall, it reflects a harmonious blend of power and elegance, promising further development with age.

 Aromas of spice, raspberry, cherry, mushroom, cranberry, and forest floor provide an intriguing invitation. On the palate, the wine is smooth and complex, built on a foundation of dark fruit with notes pomegranate, and vanilla.

Our 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is a bright and refreshing wine with aromas of grapefruit, lime, and stone-fruit. The palate offers abundant tropical flavors with notes of lemon zest and melon, lifted by crisp acidity and minerality on
the finish.

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It opens with beautiful aromas of lush black currant fruit and accents of kalamata olive. On the palate, the wine has 
bold tannin that ripple into chewy, chalky notes of cedar, pomegranate, and earthy graphite. Decant this wine to showcase its layers. Serve with steak frites.

SOLO is an elegant and refined Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas and flavors of red cherry, pomegranate, pie crust, and vanilla are supported by ample tannins and bright acidity. This is an age worthy wine capable of elevating any special occasion or meal and will continue to evolve for years to come.

Our 2024 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris offers a fragrant bouquet of ripe pear, white peach, green apple, melon, and flowers. Layers of stone fruit on the palate are lifted by bright acidity, exhibiting remarkable depth and balance.

Named for late winemaker Patrick (Pat) Foley, this wine was crafted to embody his bold character, fun-loving personality and relentless spirit. Upon opening, aromas of bright red cherry and raspberry integrate with licorice, black pepper and woody spice. The rich mouthfeel suggests plum and blackberry pie with notes of vanilla and tobacco. This wine finishes with excellent structure and is expected to evolve in bottle for the next 12 to 15 years with proper cellaring.

The 2018 Reserve Malbec is a bold representation of the Sonoma County AVA. Upon opening, dark, brambly fruit aromas coupled with graphite, spice notes, black licorice, clove, and a hint of violet fill the nose. This wine is full-bodied and richly textured with soft acidity and velvety tannins. Pair with Manchego or blue cheese, smoked duck breast with cherry compote, or braised lamb shank. This wine is expected to continue to develop in bottle for the next 5-7 years with proper cellaring.

Pronounced aromas of sweet pea, lemongrass, white peach, and sandalwood fill the nose, along with a touch of caramel. The palate is bright and refreshing with notes of pink grapefruit and lime. A long creamy finish makes this wine an excellent pairing for grilled halibut with pesto or rosemary pork tenderloin.

The 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse from the first swirl of the glass. Ripe, brooding, dark fruit with graphite and pencil shaving aromas finish with toasted oak and caramel. On the palate, abundant black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and notes of leather culminate in a robust, yet smooth and lengthy finish. This wine pairs beautifully with Korean bulgogi, lamb and beef lasagna, or flank steak with chimichurri.

The 2022 Petit Verdot offers freshness on the nose - featuring aromas of pomegranate molasses, clove, vanilla, toast, plum, and blueberry. The medium to-full bodied palate is superbly structured, offering blackberry, cola, and toasted almond with a touch of violet.

This wine is a nod to our Sonoma County heritage, offering baked apple and pear with accents of flower, buttercream and soft meringue. Elegant texture and concentration on the palate make this Chardonnay a terrific pairing for fresh Dungeness crab risotto or roasted chicken with creamy mushroom and garlic sauce.

The wine opens with perfumed aromas of tropical guava juice and fresh nectarine fruit. On the palate, it has vibrant acidity, with round, rich viscosity and notes of ripe yellow peach, candied grapefruit, nectarine, and creme on the finish. This is a highly versatile wine, excellent with brunch, a summer sushi feast, or a hearty Thanksgiving spread.

Emelia’s Cuvée Chardonnay opens with mouthwatering aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, pear, golden apple, vanilla, and baking spices. The palate exhibits a luscious profile, offering baked apple, spiced pear, nutmeg, and butterscotch.

Our 2022 Ode to the Beast Cabernet Sauvignon opens with intense aromas of baking spice, molasses, milk chocolate, and cedar. The palate offers decadent flavors of plum preserves and mocha with supple tannins. Enjoy now or cellar for 5-15 years for additional complexity. 

Our 2023 Estate Red opens with savory aromas of blueberry, blackberry, cigar box, tobacco leaf, black tea, and an underlying earthy/herbal tone. The palate is dense and complex with black cherry, vanilla, and roasted coffee bean flavors laced with supple tannins. This wine will age beautifully over the next 15 years.

The nose and palate are expressive of cool climate flavor with aromas and flavors of blueberry, red cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, white pepper, and spice. The full-bodied mid-palate possesses a gorgeous structure, led by textured tannins and brisk acidity that lingers through the finish.

The 2024 Chalone Pinot Blanc was fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures until dryness, resulting in a fresh, medium-bodied wine. A medley of tree fruits such as apple, citrus, and pear define this wine. Crushed gravel minerality and raw almonds are present on the finish.

Our Sangiovese opens with black cherry, cranberry, and toasty nutmeg on the nose. Upon first sip, seductive juicy acidity and distinct pomegranate characters pull you in. Supportive tannins and seamlessly integrated oak carry the wine through the mouthwatering finish.

The 2023 Reserve Pinot Noir is a stunning wine made by winemaker Greg Freeman that captures the essence of Chalone Vineyard's distinct terroir in a complex, yet refined style. Opulent aromas of bright, crushed black cherry, blackberry preserves, creamy vanilla, and cinnamon lead to a medium-full bodied plate that is an expressive and superb representation of the varietal.
