Grapes for our Pinot Blanc were grown in Sonoma County's celebrated Alexander Valley whose fine alluvial soils are perfect for growing white grape varietals. Partially barrel fermented in French oak to impart a creamy and textured mouthfeel, the wine shows a rich balance of floral, apple and melon aromas which carry through on the palate.

The gently rolling Belle Terre vineyard, with well-drained, gravelly and sandy loam soils produces beautiful Chardonnay fruit that has been a mainstay at Chateau St. Jean since 1975. The newest vintage opens with aromas of pineapple upside down cake accented with vanilla and baking spices. Rich and full on the palate, flavors of green fig, pear, and banana bread lead to a lingering finish.
