Our 2021 Deepsown Pinot Noir is synonymous with elegance and finesse. Aromatics of redolent cherry and raspberry are accented by notes of allspice, mocha and Douglas fir tips. The palate draws you in with flavors of baked strawberry tart and hints of spice with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Rich and seamless, this wine is very transparent in that it reflects all aspects of its crafting: from the climate and soil, to the vineyard and through the slow and gentle fermentation.

Sourced from vineyards with well-drained soils that produce exceptionally concentrated fruit, this merlot was aged for 17 months in French and American oak, prior to blending with 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Dry Creek Merlot opens with aromas and flavors of dried cherry and plum, joined by black fruits and savory notes of lavender and licorice, with hints of white pepper. Well balanced with good structure and a plush mouthfeel, with evident tannins and a lingering finish.

Our 2022 Windborn Pinot Noir is deep and dark with shades of mahogany and garnet. On the nose, there are complex aromas of black cherry, coriander, and plum that are complemented by hints of black olive, cedar, underbrush and baking spices. Founder’s Block is known for producing wines of exceptional character. The 2022 is a delight for the senses with enticing aromas of nectarine, baking spice, ginger, and white flower. Each vintage of Cinq Cepages is unique and is the result of the terrain, the growing season, and the individual vineyards selected for the blend. The 2023 Founder’s Block reflects 100% native yeast and is unfined and unfiltered. This “hands off” approach allows the grapes and vines to shine. After 12 months in 100% new French oak, the Founder’s Block Chardonnay exhibits a creamy richness, marked by apricot, honeysuckle, and slight minerality on the long, decadent finish.

The 2023 Reserve Pinot Noir is a stunning wine made by winemaker Greg Freeman that captures the essence of Chalone Vineyard's distinct terroir in a complex, yet refined style. The 2021 Nicole’s Proprietary Red is a blend created from the best barrels of our estate’s finest vineyard blocks. The final composition consists primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Merlot. The bouquet is powerful yet refined with floral notes, tobacco, and black pepper. On the palate this wine shows soft, supple tannins with flavors of stone fruit, dark cherry, and plum. Balanced by its acidity, polished tannins and exotic oak, the wine shows a beautiful juxtaposition with contrasting flavors that work well to deliver a long and lingering finish. Nicole’s should be decanted when young and should age for 20+ years.

Bursting with dark cherry aromas with underlying tones of forest floor and wet earth. The color in the glass is pale scarlet. On the palate this wine shows plenty of volume, with dark wood, strawberry, cherry and slight toasted oak flavors. The tannins are supple and work well with the crisp acidity to drive the finish.

This quintessential cool climate pinot noir has lush aromatics of strawberry jam and fudge covered bacon with hints of baked cookie crumbs, sassafras and mocha.
