PreVail Back Forty entices with a delicious array of intense aromas and flavors including toffee, currants, leather, hints of nutmeg spice, caramel, vanilla, ripe plum, and toasty oak notes. This full-bodied wine has a long, rich finish and smooth, yet structured tannins. 

Aromas of black cherry liquor, crushed hazelnut, tilled earth and dried rose petal. Decadent and rich on the palate with flavors of sweet dark plum and cocoa powder. Well-integrated tannins lead to a seamless finish.

The 2022 Siena opens with aromas of raspberry, cola, caramel, mocha, and chocolate ganache. On the palate, big, juicy plum flavors are accented by baking spice and a hint of butterscotch.

The 2021 Trésor opens with aromas of black currant, lardon, anise, and hints of burnt sugar and lavender. The palate is round, with upfront flavors of Santa Rosa plum and cedar, supported by evolving texture that leads to a strong, lingering finish.

High Haven opens with aromas of dried figs, rose hips, and hints of smoked mushroom cap and cocoa. The palate offers fine-grained tannins with flavors wild strawberry, Maraschino cherry, and a touch of dolce de leche on the finish. This wine pairs beautifully with stuffed mushrooms, roasted butternut squash risotto, or seared duck breast.
 

Deep ruby in the glass, our 2016 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla, tobacco, black currant and anise which leads to an exceptionally soft wine across the palate. Complex flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of cocoa, graphite and savory herbs. This wine is structured with firm but smooth tannins that lead to a satisfyingly long finish.

The 2019 vintage opens with terroir-driven aromatics of crème de cassis, black cherry, baked plum and all-spice. These aromas carry through to a palate that is well structured and full-bodied, with youthful yet firm tannins. A long echoing finish provides additional notes of dark fruit, earth and toasted oak. The 2022 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse wine. It opens with bold black cherry, black currant,
and dark chocolate aromas. The palate offers abundant dark brambly fruit flavors - blackberry, blueberry, cocoa,
and spice. Velvety tannins carry this wine through the long, elegant finish. Enjoy paired with bacon-wrapped dates
stuffed with goat cheese, lamb chops with garlic and herbs, or a variety of hearty meat dishes.

Complex, velvety and bold, the 2016 Cherryblock delivers a great deal of intricacy and sophistication. The wine fills the glass with deep purple and ruby highlights, followed by intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The tannins from this vintage were more intense than usual due to the smaller crop size, leading us to blend in a little more Merlot than is typical. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

The 2017 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and others intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Well-integrated flavors of wild red berries, plum, and black cherry, with notes of florals, fresh sage, mineral, cedar, toasted vanilla, and dark cocoa. Elegant and focused with intense aromas and flavors of fresh raspberry, red and black cherries, dark cocoa, sambuca, and a hint of toasty vanilla. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and the signature Stags Leap District mineral notes that are well-knit with the fruit and oak, leading to a long and bright finish.

The 2021 vintage is fruity and inviting; with tasty flavors of raspberry, cherry pie, and hints of vanilla and cedar to add just enough intricacy. Full-bodied, structured, and a whole lot of texture on the palate. A long, toasted oak finish lingers with notes of red fruit and spice.
