Our 2019 Gravel Bed Red is a harmonious expression of gravely vineyard sites from a moderately warm vintage. Its deep ruby red color leads into forward aromas of baked plum, earth, cassis and incense. Rich flavors of date, fig and sandalwood lead to a milk chocolate finish over fine tannins.

Our 2021 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of cherry liqueur, plum, strawberry compote and fresh leather. The palate offers cherry kirsch, strawberry preserve, and soft tannins with balanced acidity. The finish is long and elegant with notes of warm spice and carob.

Upon opening, dark fruit aromas of black cherry and blueberry are intertwined with notes of forest floor and vanilla spice. Deep, layered flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, and black tea are present on the palate. Soft tannins and a hints of mocha linger on the finish.

Our 2021 Estate Pinot Noir is silky with a balanced acidity and soft tannins. Aromas include wild strawberry, black cherry, cranberry-spice, and forest floor. Ripe cherry and pomegranate dominate the flavors, along with savory hints of mushroom, clove and baking spices.

The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness.

The 2019 vintage opens with terroir-driven aromatics of crème de cassis, black cherry, baked plum and all-spice. These aromas carry through to a palate that is well structured and full-bodied, with youthful yet firm tannins. A long echoing finish provides additional notes of dark fruit, earth and toasted oak. This inky deliciousness Rickshaw Cabernet Sauvignon is a food friendly, Tuesday-night-in-front-of-the-tv kinda Cab. Unapologetically bold, undeniably California, and complex enough that you might even pause Netflix to talk about it. The 2021 vintage is fruity and inviting; with tasty flavors of raspberry, cherry pie, and hints of vanilla and cedar to add just enough intricacy. Full-bodied, structured, and a whole lot of texture on the palate. A long, toasted oak finish lingers with notes of red fruit and spice.

Floral and sweet fruit aromas, hints of clove and bittersweet chocolate. Full bodied, with good tannin structure and flavors of muddled black cherry, anise and stone fruit.

The 2016 Reserve Malbec leaps out of the glass with a deep, rich perfume and sweet notes of boysenberry confiture, dark plum jam, cassis and vanilla. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and bold, concentrated with notes of cocoa and molasses. 11% Cabernet Sauvignon adds richness and complexity to the blend, and an acid backbone that provides balance to this classic fruit-driven and appealing Malbec.

Deep ruby in the glass, our 2016 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla, tobacco, black currant and anise which leads to an exceptionally soft wine across the palate. Complex flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of cocoa, graphite and savory herbs. This wine is structured with firm but smooth tannins that lead to a satisfyingly long finish.

Our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal. The nose exhibits aromas of blackberry, raspberry, caramelized sugar, barrel spice and a hint of tobacco leaf. These aromas carry through to the palate, with additional notes of dusty cocoa, vanilla, and dried sage. Firm yet smooth tannins are present on the lingering finish.

This quintessential cool climate pinot noir has lush aromatics of strawberry jam and fudge covered bacon with hints of baked cookie crumbs, sassafras and mocha. Rich flavors of pomegranate, bright cherries and cola are balanced by a hint of caramelized sugar and vanilla. This big, muscular wine is bright yet full-bodied with structured tannins that is beautiful now but will only get better with time.

Our Knight’s Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas or rich plum, cassis, dark toffee, nutmeg and cedar. Bold, full and round, the palate bursts with black cherry cobbler, cocoa nibs, fresh leather with a hint of anise. This wine is refined and age-worthy.

Upon opening, deep aromas of dark plum, black pepper, tobacco and clove fill the nose. The palate mirrors the aromas with additional notes of black cherry, leather and savory dried herbs. A soft mouthfeel and smooth, refined tannins linger on the lush finish.

The 2017 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and others intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Sweet and savory aromatics suggest fresh raspberry, thyme and a hint of meatiness. The tannin, acidity and flavors are nicely knit. Savory herbs and sweet berries are met with a clean mineral finish.

Rich, concentrated, and well-knit layers of black cherry liquor, cocoa, nutmeg, toasted oak, and tea leaves. Dense tannins and great acidity provide balance and structure to this full-bodied Cabernet for the ages.

The 2022 Acrobat Pinot Noir delivers notes of dark cherry, raspberry, rich plum and cinnamon on the nose. Bright acidity and elegant tannins shine on the palate, leading to a juicy but delicate finish. Enjoy a glass with a classic woodfired pizza.

Aromas of crushed wild blueberries and vanilla, boysenberry, and herbal nuances of tobacco and bay leaf. Full-bodied with a focused core of fresh berries and tart cherries intertwined with rich dark cherry liquor flavors. Finely textured powdery tannins and the signature Stags Leap District graphite and mineral notes are well-knit with the fruit and lightly toasted oak, with hints of black pepper and cedar on the finish.

Complex, velvety and bold, the 2016 Cherryblock delivers a great deal of intricacy and sophistication. The wine fills the glass with deep purple and ruby highlights, followed by intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The tannins from this vintage were more intense than usual due to the smaller crop size, leading us to blend in a little more Merlot than is typical. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

An incredible display of the rich and concentrated flavors that come from our estate vineyards, this wine glides across the palate for a long, decadent finish. This wine should be decanted when young, and will only gain in complexity for the next 15-20 years.

Siena has delicious aromas of blackberry, raspberry jam, cocoa, toasty vanilla, licorice, and nutmeg spice that lead to flavors of Bing cherry, blueberry, sweet plums, pomegranate, mocha, sweet oak notes and a hint of butterscotch. SIENA has supple tannins and a balanced mouthfeel with lively elegance and depth.
