Our 2022 Estate Red opens with savory aromas of blueberry, blackberry, cigar box, tobacco leaf, black tea, and an underlying earthy/herbal tone. The palate is dense and complex with black cherry, vanilla, and roasted coffee bean flavors laced with supple tannins. This wine will age beautifully over the next 15 years.

This wine opens with sultry aromas of dark plum and crème de cassis with a hint of lavender. The palate is plush and structured with layers of dark fruit, nicely integrated oak and rich, velvety tannins. We recommend decanting this wine, especially in its youth, to encourage these bold characters to open up and fully evolve. Pair with pork tenderloin and cherry compote, or grilled New York steak with a demi-glace for an ultra-decadent meal. Rewarding and ready for enjoyment now, the 2022 vintage is also well suited to age for 10-15 years in proper cellaring conditions.

Founder’s Block is known for producing wines of exceptional character. The 2022 is a delight for the senses with enticing aromas of nectarine, baking spice, ginger, and white flower. The richness of this wine is beautifully balanced with subtle minerality and bright acidity supporting layers of stone fruit and baked apple flavors. Serve lightly chilled with smoked salmon with lemon aioli and toasted brioche, fresh peach salad with baby greens, goat cheese and pistachios, or a garden pizza with basil pesto.

The 2018 Winemaker Series Brut Sparkling is a beautiful representation of our Russian River Valley vineyards. This sparkling opens with aromas of brioche and apple pie, leading to flavors of toasted almond, notes of oyster shell and lemon pith to round out the palate. Fine bubbles and flow from the start through the creamy finish.

Sweet and savory aromatics suggest fresh raspberry, thyme and a hint of meatiness. The tannin, acidity and flavors are nicely knit. Savory herbs and sweet berries are met with a clean mineral finish.

The 2022 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse wine. It opens with bold black cherry, black currant,
and dark chocolate aromas. The palate offers abundant dark brambly fruit flavors - blackberry, blueberry, cocoa,
and spice. Velvety tannins carry this wine through the long, elegant finish. Enjoy paired with bacon-wrapped dates
stuffed with goat cheese, lamb chops with garlic and herbs, or a variety of hearty meat dishes.

This structured yet delicate pinot noir has aromatics of exotic berries, cherry pie and vanilla custard with a hint of bramble. In the mouth, you find smooth, deep flavors of dark chocolate covered cranberry and pomegranate with a touch of rose and cigarbox on the finish. A beautiful pinot noir with structured, elegant tannins and a long finish.

The 2017 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and others intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

The 2021 Felta Chardonnay is defined by its bright acidity and mineral finish. This wine displays desirable layers of lemon, nectarine peach and vanilla flavors, enticing sip after sip.

Our 2023 Mordecai offers abundant ripe blackberry and plum aromas with a touch of vanilla, baking spice, and floral notes. The palate is medium-bodied, adding black cherry, herbal sage, berry medley, leather, and a hint of caramel spice to the satisfying finish.

The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness.

Deep ruby in the glass, our 2016 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla, tobacco, black currant and anise which leads to an exceptionally soft wine across the palate. Complex flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of cocoa, graphite and savory herbs. This wine is structured with firm but smooth tannins that lead to a satisfyingly long finish.

Deep in color, it reveals a complex nose of black currant, plum, anise and violet. Refined and polished tannins provide amazing structure and depth that complement commanding flavors of dark plum, black currant, blackberry, savory leather and dark chocolate. An incredible display of the rich and concentrated flavors that come from our estate vineyards, this wine glides across the palate for a long, decadent finish. This wine should be decanted when young, and will only gain in complexity for the next 15-20 years.

This quintessential cool climate pinot noir has lush aromatics of strawberry jam and fudge covered bacon with hints of baked cookie crumbs, sassafras and mocha. Rich flavors of pomegranate, bright cherries and cola are balanced by a hint of caramelized sugar and vanilla. This big, muscular wine is bright yet full-bodied with structured tannins that is beautiful now but will only get better with time.

Our 2021 Wright Creek Chardonnay presents rich aromas and flavors of baked pear, apple, and Meyer lemon. A full, and luxurious texture fills the palate with a creamy structure leading to a mineral finish.

This wine opens with a delightful bouquet of citrus, lemon and lime zest, green and red apple, and lemon blossom. The palate offers racy acidity balanced by bright stone fruit and zesty citrus notes.

This elegant Chardonnay has aromas of spiced pear and exotic mandarin with hints of vanilla and fresh cream. Bold flavors of pear and white nectarine are balanced with rich layered textures, a bright acidity and complemented by a luxurious texture from 100% oak aging. The finish is creamy, long and elegant. This wine pairs perfectly with Asian pear salad, halibut and lemon beurre blanc and toast almond cake.

Our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal. The nose exhibits aromas of blackberry, raspberry, caramelized sugar, barrel spice and a hint of tobacco leaf. These aromas carry through to the palate, with additional notes of dusty cocoa, vanilla, and dried sage. Firm yet smooth tannins are present on the lingering finish.

Siena has delicious aromas of blackberry, raspberry jam, cocoa, toasty vanilla, licorice, and nutmeg spice that lead to flavors of Bing cherry, blueberry, sweet plums, pomegranate, mocha, sweet oak notes and a hint of butterscotch. SIENA has supple tannins and a balanced mouthfeel with lively elegance and depth.

PreVail Lookout Tree is a bold, yet refined wine. An enticing bouquet of molasses, raspberry sauce, sage, and tobacco lead to layered flavors of cassis, plum, and leather. The complex profile and forward tannin structure will allow this wine to evolve and age beautifully for many years.

This wine is full-bodied with layers of wild blackberry, spiced plum, molasses, sage and a hint of white peppercorn. Silky smooth tannins and a touch of cinnamon linger on the finish.

Aromas of black cherry liquor, crushed hazelnut, tilled earth and dried rose petal. Decadent and rich on the palate with flavors of sweet dark plum and cocoa powder. Well-integrated tannins lead to a seamless finish.

The 2022 vintage was another warm and fast-paced year. Warm temperatures continued into summer setting the stage for full ripening, fresh acidity and beautifully balanced fruit. Our 2022 Estate Chardonnay is creamy, rich and elegant with complex aromas and flavors of baked bread, pear, hazelnut, and toasted marshmallow. This is an age-worthy wine of exceptional quality known for its full mouthfeel and exquisite long finish.

Floral and sweet fruit aromas, hints of clove and bittersweet chocolate. Full bodied, with good tannin structure and flavors of muddled black cherry, anise and stone fruit.

This wine is rich and intense with aromas of dried blueberry, leather, spiced dark chocolate, and vanilla. On the palate, dominant boysenberry jam flavors are accented by notes of cedar and a hint of barrel toast on the decadent finish.

The wine is an intense blackish red color. Elegant nose with aromas of red fruits such as plums, raspberries and cherries, and notes of spices, herbs, dark chocolate and black tea. Its pleasant tannins and acidity combine on the palate, giving it a long, unctuous yet fresh mouthfeel.

Aromas of black cassis, layers of black tea, earth and a touch of dark baking chocolate. Dense, refined tannins provide a velvety texture. The palate is full of mixed berries, dark chocolate, Chai tea and a dusting of sweet graham cracker crumbles on the finish.

Floral and sweet fruit aromas, hints of clove and bittersweet chocolate. Full bodied, with good tannin structure and flavors of muddled black cherry, anise and stone fruit.

Aromas of Yule log, chocolate covered cherries and mocha. Medium-bodied entry that leads to flavors of mocha, black plum, cola and bittersweet chocolate with good intensity and fruit oriented firm tannins. This is a well-structured and well-integrated wine.

High Haven opens with aromas of dried figs, rose hips, and hints of smoked mushroom cap and cocoa. The palate offers fine-grained tannins with flavors wild strawberry, Maraschino cherry, and a touch of dolce de leche on the finish. This wine pairs beautifully with stuffed mushrooms, roasted butternut squash risotto, or seared duck breast.
 

Aromas of dark cocoa, ripe raspberry, and flint/mineral notes open up to sweet ripe plum, black cherry, and an oak expression of lightly toasted brioche. Full-bodied, exuberant plum and red cherry fruit flavors without a hint of the irrational. Cocoa and a hint of anise join the fruit in an elegant balance along with the oak, acid, and tannin. Supremely focused, but generous with a long finish.

Our 2021 Grüner Veltliner shines throughout with complex minerality and notes of kiwi fruit and white peach. Aromatics of bright lemon-lime zest fill the glass. This wine is light and refreshing, making it a perfect complement for herbaceous meals, such as English pea shoot or yellow beet salad.

Aromatic, elegant, and defined by great structure, texture, and balance. Well-integrated flavors of wild red berries, plum, and black cherry, with notes of florals, fresh sage, mineral, cedar, toasted vanilla, and dark cocoa. Full-bodied and lush, with the vibrant energy characteristic of Limited Cabernet Sauvignon.
