The palate is full-bodied with abundant dried black cherry flavors and toasty brown spices on the long, elegant finish.

Vibrant, bright and aromatic with notes of tropical fruit, green apple and citrus complemented by marzipan and honeysuckle. The wine is persistent on the palate and creamy on the finish. Hints of toast round out this beautiful, balanced wine.

The 2022 Siena opens with aromas of raspberry, cola, caramel, mocha, and chocolate ganache. On the palate, big, juicy plum flavors are accented by baking spice and a hint of butterscotch.

The 2019 vintage opens with terroir-driven aromatics of crème de cassis, black cherry, baked plum and all-spice. These aromas carry through to a palate that is well structured and full-bodied, with youthful yet firm tannins. A long echoing finish provides additional notes of dark fruit, earth and toasted oak. The 2022 vintage was another warm and fast-paced year. Warm temperatures continued into summer setting the stage for full ripening, fresh acidity and beautifully balanced fruit. Our 2022 Estate Chardonnay is creamy, rich and elegant with complex aromas and flavors of baked bread, pear, hazelnut, and toasted marshmallow. This is an age-worthy wine of exceptional quality known for its full mouthfeel and exquisite long finish.

Our 2021 Grüner Veltliner shines throughout with complex minerality and notes of kiwi fruit and white peach. Aromatics of bright lemon-lime zest fill the glass. This wine is light and refreshing, making it a perfect complement for herbaceous meals, such as English pea shoot or yellow beet salad.

Our 2021 Wright Creek Chardonnay presents rich aromas and flavors of baked pear, apple, and Meyer lemon. A full, and luxurious texture fills the palate with a creamy structure leading to a mineral finish.

This elegant Chardonnay has aromas of spiced pear and exotic mandarin with hints of vanilla and fresh cream. Bold flavors of pear and white nectarine are balanced with rich layered textures, a bright acidity and complemented by a luxurious texture from 100% oak aging. The finish is creamy, long and elegant. This wine pairs perfectly with Asian pear salad, halibut and lemon beurre blanc and toast almond cake.

Deep ruby in the glass, our 2016 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla, tobacco, black currant and anise which leads to an exceptionally soft wine across the palate. Complex flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of cocoa, graphite and savory herbs. This wine is structured with firm but smooth tannins that lead to a satisfyingly long finish.

The 2021 Founder's Block reflects 100% native yeast and is unfined and unfiltered. This “hands off” approach allows the grapes and vines to shine. After 15 months in 92% new French oak, the Founder’s Block Chardonnay exhibits a creamy richness, marked by ripe pear, baked apple, and baking spices, producing rounded layers and texture.

This quintessential cool climate pinot noir has lush aromatics of strawberry jam and fudge covered bacon with hints of baked cookie crumbs, sassafras and mocha. Rich flavors of pomegranate, bright cherries and cola are balanced by a hint of caramelized sugar and vanilla. This big, muscular wine is bright yet full-bodied with structured tannins that is beautiful now but will only get better with time.

Upon opening, strong notes of black currant, mocha, and cedar fill the nose. This full-bodied Cabernet is layered with concentrated dark fruit flavors and savory hints of leather and spice. This is a well-structured wine that beautifully displays the quality of our Rutherford Estate terroir. While approachable now, this wine will age beautifully and gain complexity over the next 10-15 years.

The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness.

PreVail Back Forty entices with a delicious array of intense aromas and flavors including toffee, currants, leather, hints of nutmeg spice, caramel, vanilla, ripe plum, and toasty oak notes. This full-bodied wine has a long, rich finish and smooth, yet structured tannins. 

Upon opening, dark fruit aromas of black cherry and blueberry are intertwined with notes of forest floor and vanilla spice. Deep, layered flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, and black tea are present on the palate. Soft tannins and a hints of mocha linger on the finish.

Our Knight’s Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas or rich plum, cassis, dark toffee, nutmeg and cedar. Bold, full and round, the palate bursts with black cherry cobbler, cocoa nibs, fresh leather with a hint of anise. This wine is refined and age-worthy.

This full‐bodied wine is elegant and rich with aromas of cassis, blueberries, pomegranate, mocha and sweet brown sugar that lead to flavors of plum, blackberries and vanilla, finishing with a toasty cardamom spice.

The 2023 Steel Chardonnay opens with aromas of fresh yellow peach and ripe nectarine, with bright, crisp acidity. On the finish, the wine delivers notes candied pineapple and hints of citrus zest. This is the perfect wine to pair with a spring brunch or halibut crudo in a citrus ponzu.

The 2017 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and others intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Complex, velvety and bold, the 2016 Cherryblock delivers a great deal of intricacy and sophistication. The wine fills the glass with deep purple and ruby highlights, followed by intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The tannins from this vintage were more intense than usual due to the smaller crop size, leading us to blend in a little more Merlot than is typical. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Rich, concentrated, and well-knit layers of black cherry liquor, cocoa, nutmeg, toasted oak, and tea leaves. Dense tannins and great acidity provide balance and structure to this full-bodied Cabernet for the ages.

Our 2019 Gravel Bed Red is a harmonious expression of gravely vineyard sites from a moderately warm vintage. Its deep ruby red color leads into forward aromas of baked plum, earth, cassis and incense. Rich flavors of date, fig and sandalwood lead to a milk chocolate finish over fine tannins.

The 2018 Winemaker Series Brut Sparkling is a beautiful representation of our Russian River Valley vineyards. This sparkling opens with aromas of brioche and apple pie, leading to flavors of toasted almond, notes of oyster shell and lemon pith to round out the palate. Fine bubbles and flow from the start through the creamy finish.

The 2016 Reserve Malbec leaps out of the glass with a deep, rich perfume and sweet notes of boysenberry confiture, dark plum jam, cassis and vanilla. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and bold, concentrated with notes of cocoa and molasses. 11% Cabernet Sauvignon adds richness and complexity to the blend, and an acid backbone that provides balance to this classic fruit-driven and appealing Malbec.

This full-bodied wine entices with captivating aromas of blackberry, cassis, graphite, and chocolate malt. Lush and full flavors of dark plums, black cherry, licorice, and cedar are layered with a solid structure of rich tannins.

This structured yet delicate pinot noir has aromatics of exotic berries, cherry pie and vanilla custard with a hint of bramble. In the mouth, you find smooth, deep flavors of dark chocolate covered cranberry and pomegranate with a touch of rose and cigarbox on the finish.
