This refreshing wine is perfect for enjoying on warm spring and summer days, as well as alongside turkey over the holidays.

The 2018 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and offers intense, concentrated aromas of cassis, tobacco and graphite. Flavors of black cherry fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cacao, cedar and tobacco. Full soft tannins complete the profile with lingering notes of herbs and spice. This wine is drinking well in its youth, but will improve over the next 10+ years.

Though appealing in its youth, this wine will also age beautifully over the next 15 years.

Named for late winemaker Patrick (Pat) Foley, this wine was crafted to embody his bold character, fun-loving personality and relentless spirit. Upon opening, aromas of black currant and sweet licorice are present with notes of vanilla spice. Flavors of black cherry and dark plum fill the mouth with well-balanced acidity and a lingering slightly sweet finish. The long French oak aging regimen gives this wine a strong structure with ample aging potential.

Our 2021 Dundee Hills Reserve Pinot Noir displays a dark ruby color. Nuanced aromas of dark cherries, spice and mulberry set the tone. Juicy black cherry coats the palate with notes of vanilla and spice highlighted in the background. The use of new French oak barrels in this wine supports the fruit and adds a touch of baking spice aroma where the contribution of older French oak barrels allows the tannins to develop gracefully over time. The finish is silky and long, which is a characteristic of Dundee Hills Pinot Noir.

Our 2019 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is a bold and hearty wine. Aromas of dried rose petals, crushed raspberries and briary fruit are present among opening. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy flavors of fresh raspberries and strawberry marmalade and notes of sweet spices. A hint of toasty oak lingers on the finish.

Our 2019 Sangiovese opens with aromas of violet, new leather and wild raspberry. Ample elegance reigns with this red fruit oriented beauty. Silky tannins and integrated acid with subtle oak spice.

The fruit for this wine comes from our best block of Sauvignon Blanc on the estate. The musqué clone makes this a highly aromatic wine, with tropical guava, peach, and nectarine notes. The palate is bright, with lively acidity and flavors of confectionery pineapple meringue accented by grapefruit and citrus on the finish.

Our 2021 Patrick’s Vineyard Chardonnay has a golden-amber hue with ripe pear, pineapple core and movie popcorn on the nose. The mouthfeel is round and full, expressing notes of pear, apple pie fillling, butterscotch and marzipan.

The 2020 Lindsay’s Pinot Noir opens with aromas of bright red cherry cola and accents of red cranberry fruit with dashes of black pepper. The gently rolling Belle Terre vineyard, with well-drained, gravelly and sandy loam soils produces beautiful Chardonnay fruit that has been a mainstay at Chateau St. Jean since 1975. Our 2022 Pinot Gris has beautiful aromas of stonefruit in the glass with a hint of struck flint. The palate continues in this medium-bodied wine with fresh pear, apple and stonefruit, which leads into a vibrant lingering acidity

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate.
