Named for late winemaker Patrick (Pat) Foley, this wine was crafted to embody his bold character, fun-loving personality and relentless spirit. Upon opening, aromas of toasty oak, cinnamon, vanilla, plum and cherry waft from the glass. The robust mouthfeel maintains intrigue as flavors of spicy white pepper, plum, and cocoa powder flow across the palate. Medium tannins and a long finish make this wine an ideal pairing with a hamburger, pizza, or meatloaf and will continue to evolve with proper cellaring for 10 to 15 years.

Our 2020 Handmade Cabernet Franc opens with bright fruit aromas of cherry, plum and blueberry, and earthy notes of dried herbs and fresh mint. This wine is big and bold on the palate, with red fruit flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. Medium-firm tannins are present on the long, creamy finish.

Our 2021 Handmade Chardonnay is an exquisite representation of the varietal and growing region. Aromas of peach, honeysuckle, pineapple, citrus flower, and melon are complemented by notes of butterscotch and toasted caramel. The creamy palate delivers flavors of apricot, lemon rind, guava, and vanilla, with a long, structured finish. We recommend serving this wine alongside seafood pasta, buttered scallops, or soft brie cheese.

Mouthwatering aromas of kiwi, lemongrass, white peach, citrus and jalapeño fill the nose. The palate is bright and refreshing with notes of pink grapefruit and lime. A long creamy finish makes this wine an excellent pairing for raw oysters, goat cheese, or octopus salad.

The 2019 vintage of Lone Acre Cabernet Sauvignon showcases aromas of plum, cedar, and black pepper. The rich and weighty palate possesses notes of black cherry, spice, and coffee that lead to a long and smooth finish.

Our 2021 Handmade Petit Verdot is dark and inky in the glass, opening with aromas of dark cherry, sage, violet, caramel, and forest floor. Bold and full on the palate, this wine has layered flavors of red cherry, plum compote, and cedar. The 48% new French oak aging softens the bold tannins and provides lingering notes of creamy vanilla and roasted coffee beans on the finish.

The 2018 Merus is a dark and powerful wine. Aromas of cassis and blackberry fill the nose, with undertones of vanilla bean, cedar and graphite. A full body and plush velvety tannins fill the mouth with deep flavors of saturated black fruits. Hints of vanilla and a fine grain oak texture from the 100% new French oak aging linger on the finish. Decant for one hour for maximum enjoyment.

Our 2019 vintage Cabernet Franc displays a dark ruby color in the glass. Flavor notes of cherry, dark chocolate, dried prune, crushed pepper, and dried herbs are present on both the nose and palate. Smooth, well-coated tannins and vivid acidity are followed by a lingering finish.

The 2021 Handmade Malbec opens with a beautiful medley of plum, strawberry, dark cherry, chocolate, cedar, and blueberry aromas. The palate offers a bright, fruit-driven entry, showcasing anise and raspberry flavors over structured tannins, finishing long and smooth. Enjoy with gouda cheese, beef empanadas, or pork tenderloin. Proper cellaring will allow this wine to continue to evolve for the next 10-15 years.

A well structured and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with inviting aromas of huckleberry, cedar, black pepper and a hint of dried sage. On the palate, bold tannins are balanced with flavors of black currant and dark cherry with savory notes of tobacco and graphite. While approachable now, it will age beautifully over the next 5-10 years.

Serve with braised beef rib with deglazed Cabernet Franc sauce and roasted carrots.

The 2021 Rosato is a Saignée style Rosé, resulting in a darker pink color. The nose exudes aromas of sweet cherry, strawberry candy, apricot, and rose petal. The palate is dry yet juicy with an elegant texture and a pleasant fruit entry, mirroring its aromatics. Refreshing acidity lingers on the long and smooth finish.

The 2020 Homestead Chardonnay opens with aromas of butterscotch, bright pear, toast, caramel, and melon. The palate is rich, with layers of vanilla cream, crème brûlée, cantaloupe and cotton candy. This wine pairs beautifully with buttery seafood pasta and scallops.

Our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal. The nose exhibits aromas of blackberry, raspberry, caramelized sugar, barrel spice and a hint of tobacco leaf. These aromas carry through to the palate, with additional notes of dusty cocoa, vanilla, and dried sage. Firm yet smooth tannins are present on the lingering finish.

Our 2017 Villa Vista Cabernet Sauvignon opens with bright acidity, bursting with aromas of ripe red cherries and wild flowers. Flavors of red licorice and cherry fill the palate followed by a beautiful red fruit and oak finish.

Our 2018 vintage showcases a dark purple color. Flavor notes of cherry, crushed pepper, roasted coffee, green olive, and licorice are present on both the nose and palate. Smooth tannins and vibrant acidity are followed by an elegant, lingering finish.

The 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is dark and dense with aromas of red and black fruits, black pepper, Herbs de Provence and toasted vanilla. The palate is full with strong tannins that are balanced by juicy flavors of black cherry, blueberry and cassis. A subtle hint of mocha lingers on the long, smooth finish. This is a wine to enjoy over many years to come.

A textbook Rutherford Cabernet, this wine opens with a remarkable punch. Intense aromas of raspberry, plum, dried herbs, violet and lavender waft from the bottle. The color is like reddish black tar. The leading aroma is dominated by melted black and red licorice candy smells followed up by super-ripe or sunbaked blackberries. The oak contributes a vanilla extract headiness to the fruit and spice.

Wine lots and barrels selected for our ‘El Coyote’ Cabernet Sauvignon don’t necessarily come from a particular spot on the estate ( à la Vineyard Designate), but rather share common flavor and structural attributes that highlight the dark, meaty, rich, black fruit aspects of the variety. To further highlight these characters, we often co-ferment with varieties that share these same qualities.

The 2022 Handmade White Blend opens with pronounced aromas of key lime, white peach, and honeysuckle, with notes of lemongrass and jalapeño. The bright mouthfeel offers stonefruit flavors complemented by honeydew melon and grapefruit lingering on the finish.
