Our 2021 Patrick’s Vineyard Chardonnay has a golden-amber hue with ripe pear, pineapple core and movie popcorn on the nose. The mouthfeel is round and full, expressing notes of pear, apple pie fillling, butterscotch and marzipan.

The 2021 Willamette Valley Chradonnay is an elegant wine with beautiful, delicate aromas of stone fruit and lemon peel with soft hints of caramel and roasted almonds. The palate has a lively entry full of bright citrus that transitions into a creamy mid-palate with a touch of fresh baked bread. The finish is soft with a lingering minerality and notes of wet stone.

The gently rolling Belle Terre vineyard, with well-drained, gravelly and sandy loam soils produces beautiful Chardonnay fruit that has been a mainstay at Chateau St. Jean since 1975. The newest vintage opens with aromas of pineapple upside down cake accented with vanilla and baking spices. Rich and full on the palate, flavors of green fig, pear, and banana bread lead to a lingering finish.

The 2022 vintage was another warm and fast-paced year. Warm temperatures continued into summer setting the stage for full ripening, fresh acidity and beautifully balanced fruit. The 2021 Bar Lazy S Ranch Chardonnay opens with beautiful aromas of fresh lemon curd, confectionery crème brûlée, and sweet caramelized brown sugar. On the palate, bright acidity, toasted graham cracker, candied almonds, and vanilla bean flavors lead to a crème caramel finish.

The Chalone 2021 Chardonnay Musqué is expressive and bright. Fruit-forward aromas of Meyer lemons, white peaches, and nectarines are accompanied by floral notes and a touch of wet stone. On the palate, mouthwatering acidity and a lingering minerality provide a vibrant and satisfying finish.

Our 2022 Chardonnay is beautifully balanced with juicy stone fruits and fragrant golden apple aromas and flavors. The palate fully delivers with a creamy, viscous mouth feel that highlights the crisp fruit flavors and adds to the complexity.

This wine showcases crisp lemon citrus aromatics with an impression of limestone minerality. On the palate the wine has a nice acidity, soft floral notes accented by white grapefruit, lemon zest, and minerality rounded out with toasted vanilla wafer accents on the finish. The 2021 Founder's Block reflects 100% native yeast and is unfined and unfiltered. This “hands off” approach allows the grapes and vines to shine. After 15 months in 92% new French oak, the Founder’s Block Chardonnay exhibits a creamy richness, marked by ripe pear, baked apple, and baking spices, producing rounded layers and texture.

Our Reserve Chardonnay blends the most standout barrels from our different single vineyard programs for an expression of Sonoma County. 18 months aging in 50% new French oak adds hazelnut and crème brulée characters to notes of ripe yellow apple and spiced pear.

Our 2022 Reserve Russian River Valley Chardonnay is rich and expressive. Upon opening, mouthwatering aromas of white peach, butterscotch, and waffle cone are present. The palate is rich and round with bright fruit flavors, caramel notes, and hints of oak lingering on the finish.

Our 2021 Courtney’s Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay has mouthwatering aromas of confectionery lemon curd and toasted brioche. The palate is bold and complex with plenty of richness from its time in oak. Hints of toasted graham, candied pineapple, lemon zest, and rich notes of caramelized sugar carry this wine through the finish. We recommend allowing the wine to evolve in the glass for a few moments and pairing it with a rich dish, such as chicken marsala.

This wonderfully complex Sonoma Coast Chardonnay has aromatics of lemon curd, baking spices, wet river rock and a hint of cedar. The 2020 Zoula Nunn Chardonnay is a rich, opulent wine. Aromas of brioche, toasted almond and crème brûlée lead to a full, round mouthfeel and flavors of candied lemon, toasted marshmallow and hints of toasted coconut accents on the finish. This wine pairs beautifully with crab, chicken Alfredo or braised pork loin.
