The 2021 GEO is a strong tribute to its reputation. Brambly aromas with spice, blackberry, dark fruit, and rich toffee lead to a robust mouthfeel. Rich layers of black and blue fruits coupled with coffee, licorice, and cola linger long after the last sip.

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It is a bold wine with layers of roasted spiced plum flavors and hints of cocoa, vanilla, and toasty oak on the nose. The lush tannin structure is complemented by smooth acidity that persists long after each indulgent sip. This wine pairs well with prime or short rib, roast beef, venison or pasta dishes with dark meat-based sauces.

Upon opening, dark fruit aromas of black cherry and blueberry are intertwined with notes of forest floor and vanilla spice. Deep, layered flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate, and black tea are present on the palate. Soft tannins and a hints of mocha linger on the finish.

Our 2022 Carménère Cabernet Sauvignon opens with earthy aromas, raspberry, strawberry, plum, and spice. The palate offers rustic intrigue with tobacco and leather flavors leading to dark chocolate, peppercorn, and accents of raspberry lingering on the finish.

This wine opens with leather, cedar, plum jam, molasses, and mocha on the nose. The palate is juicy upfront with warm marionberry syrup and full, velvety tannins. Notes of butterscotch linger on the long, decadent finish.

Our 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant expression of the very best of the varietal grown on our Alexander Valley estate. A light perfume of lavender flowers leads to a bold yet refined palate. Robust tannins and flavors of black currant and dark chocolate fill the mouth, concluding with a soft, lingering finish.

Our 2021 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of cherry liqueur, plum, strawberry compote and fresh leather. The palate offers cherry kirsch, strawberry preserve, and soft tannins with balanced acidity. The finish is long and elegant with notes of warm spice and carob.

Our 2018 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful representation of Sonoma County Cab. Aromas of clove, leather, tobacco and cassis lead to savory tapanade and red fruit flavors on the palate, finishing with bright oak.

The 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of the five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness. This wine should be decanted when young, and will only gain in complexity for the next 15-20 years.

Upon opening, strong notes of black currant, mocha, and cedar fill the nose. This full-bodied Cabernet is layered with concentrated dark fruit flavors and savory hints of leather and spice. This is a well-structured wine that beautifully displays the quality of our Rutherford Estate terroir. While approachable now, this wine will age beautifully and gain complexity over the next 10-15 years.

The 2019 vintage opens with terroir-driven aromatics of crème de cassis, black cherry, baked plum and all-spice. These aromas carry through to a palate that is well structured and full-bodied, with youthful yet firm tannins. A long echoing finish provides additional notes of dark fruit, earth and toasted oak. The 2019 vintage of Lone Acre Cabernet Sauvignon showcases aromas of plum, cedar, and black pepper. The rich and weighty palate possesses notes of black cherry, spice, and coffee that lead to a long and smooth finish.

Pronounced aromas of red cherry, raspberry bramble, pomegranate, and marzipan introduce this exquisite wine. Graceful tannins give structured body and grip to the layers of integrated dark chocolate covered cherry, caramel, tobacco, and mocha flavors. Decant in its youth or cellar for many years to come.

Our Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, purple-ruby in color with aromas of baked plum pie, dried black currant, lavender and violets with hints of cedar of anise. A juicy entry on the mouth delivers plush, fine tannins with a velvety texture.This approachable, medium-bodied cabernet has full, yet silky flavors of plum, berries, vanilla and graham cracker.. Bold, concentrated and richly layered, our 2021 Alexander Valley Reserve Red Wine opens with aromas of hazelnut, cinnamon, toffee, cranberry, and plum. A well structured and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with inviting aromas of huckleberry, cedar, black pepper and a hint of dried sage. Only produced in exceptional vintages, this incredible blend for our 2021 vintage was selected from the best barrels form our top Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot blocks. The 2021 introduces rich notes of cigar box, dark fruit, black cherry, black currant, leather, and tea. This blend expresses smooth, velvety tannins with rich layers of complexity. It is a deep, intense, powerfully built wine that captures the heart and soul of our stunning estate. I am proud to give this wine my name.

PreVail West Face is an exquisite, full-bodied wine with aromas of maple bacon, plum, and a hint of violet. On the palate, plum galette, baking spice and toasty graham cracker provide layers of interest supported by ample tannin. This wine’s bold profile will continue to evolve and age beautifully

Intense aromas of dark cherry and stone fruits. Full-bodied with great structure and balance. Perfectly ripe cherry and plum flavors and hints of apricot and toasted oak lead to a long finish.

Half-bottle

The 2019 Nicole’s Proprietary Red is a blend created from the best barrels of our estate’s finest vineyard blocks. The final composition consists primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Merlot. On the palate this wine shows soft, supple tannins with flavors of stone fruit, dark cherry and plum. Balanced by its acidity, polished tannins and exotic oak, the wine shows a beautiful juxtaposition with contrasting flavors that work well to deliver a long and lingering finish. Nicole’s should be decanted when young,and should age for 20+ years.

This wine opens with lifted aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, black currant, and vanilla. On the palate, crushed berries and cassis give way to layers of opulent black and red berry fruit, with accents of vanilla. This wine is well-structured with the support of velvety tannins lingering on the long, elegant finish.

On the nose, our 2019 Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enticing aromas of blackstrap molasses, mint, cinnamon, blueberries and espresso. These notes carry through to the palate with additional flavors of white cherry and green plum. Bright acidity and youthful tannins give this wine ample aging potential.

Our Knight’s Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas or rich plum, cassis, dark toffee, nutmeg and cedar. Bold, full and round, the palate bursts with black cherry cobbler, cocoa nibs, fresh leather with a hint of anise. This wine is refined and age-worthy.
