If you have enjoyed our Marine Layer Pinot Noir, think of El Pino as its wilder, darker sidekick. We love working on these blends simultaneously, selecting the more delicate barrels for Marine Layer and the more robust for El Pino.
Elegant yet structured, with a broad, soft palate and medium body. Reminiscent of the terroir-driven Syrahs of the Northern Rhône, this wine displays black cherry fruit, hints of violet and layers of exotic spice.
This is a very delicate Pinot Noir, with a warmly scented nose of potpourri and freshly crushed red berries. In the mouth you will find electric flavors of cranberry, strawberry, anise seed and pomegranate. The finish is long, precise and pleasantly bitter, much like a negroni.
This Pinot Noir displays warm, evergreen and spice infused aromatic profile that leads into flavors of dark plums, macerated cherries and forest floor. This is definitely more dark fruit heavy than red, enveloping the palate in a soft, plush embrace.
This Pinot Noir takes you on a lovely stroll through an enchanted redwood forest. A very rustic wine with ever-changing aromatics of eucalyptus, rich earth, and a fresh herb garden. Bright flavors of blackberry and black cherry with undertones of dark earth and bramble lead to a soft, lingering finish and a touch of spearmint.
Pretty aromatics of shaded redwood grove, early fall and that first breeze when you know fall is right around the corner. An approachable Pinot Noir with soft, warm flavors of maraschino cherries, oatmeal blackberry muffins, a touch of Dr. Pepper and gummy coke bottles with a brambly, earthen finish and a hint of lemon-lime.
An exciting, yet friendly wine, bursting at the seams with aromas of macerated wild berries and an elegant, soft earth undertone. The flavors combine both sweet and tart, reminiscent of Santa Rosa plums and wild blackberries that grow so commonly in Sonoma.
