Our Sangiovese offers a bouquet reminiscent of holiday cheer; clove-spiced cherry, cranberry compote, roasted figs, and vanilla wafer. On the palate, this wine is structured yet smooth, supported by a lifting acidity. Flavors of crumble-topped Italian plum tart and a hint of caramel sauce flow through the finish.

Our 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant expression of the very best of the varietal grown on our Alexander Valley estate. This wine takes a bit of time to awaken in the glass, but once it does, it rewards with delicious dark cherry and cola on the nose. The palate lingers on cherry, Chinese five-spice, smoked meats, and leather wrapped in dusty tannins all the way to the finish. Underlying notes of cedar and espresso bean come through towards the end. This is an extremely food friendly wine.

This is a well-structured wine that beautifully displays the quality of our Rutherford Estate terroir. The 2019 vintage of Lone Acre Cabernet Sauvignon showcases aromas of plum, cedar, and black pepper. The rich and weighty palate possesses notes of black cherry, spice, and coffee that lead to a long and smooth finish.

Densely colored with intense aromas of luscious black cherry, forest floor and hints of baking spice that emerge from the glass. Its elegant mouth-filling texture nicely balances fresh acidity and silky-smooth tannins.

Each vintage of Cinq Cepages is unique and is the result of the terrain, the growing season, and the individual vineyards selected for the blend. The 2021 is quite opulent, opening with lush dark fruit aromas accented by cassis, vanilla, and spice. The palate is plush, offering dark berry flavors coupled with toasted oak and smooth, velvety tannins. The medium-bodied palate is a beautiful representation of the varietal and the Chalone AVA. The 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of four of the five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness.

Our 2019 Danielli displays a deep ruby color and presents intense aroma notes of berries, black cassis, caramel, and forest floor. This is a full-bodied wine with muscular tannins, firm acidity, and a lengthy finish.

The 2021 Annie Dyer Pinot Noir opens with aromas of brambled boysenberry cobbler, black pepper, chamborde liquor, and dark plum accents. On the palate, this wine shows great depth featuring plenty of dark fruit. Blackberry, boysenberry, and earthy pomegranate are complemented by hints of peppercorn and cocoa on the finish.

The 2021 Lindsay’s Pinot Noir opens with aromas of bright red plum and cran-raspberry. On the palate, it is a light-bodied Pinot Noir with dominant flavors of pomegranate and hibiscus tea. Soft red peppercorn, and cherry notes linger on the finish. This wine would be a delight paired with a creamy fromage.

PreVail Back Forty entices with a delicious array of intense aromas and flavors including toffee, currants, leather, hints of nutmeg spice, caramel, vanilla, ripe plum, and toasty oak notes. This full-bodied wine has a long, rich finish and smooth, yet structured tannins. 

The 2022 St. Jean Vineyard Cabernet Franc is a dark, concentrated wine. On the nose, black raspberry, cherry, and floral notes swirl among accents of spice. The palate offers dense black raspberry and black cherry flavors, with dried strawberry and black pepper. Velvety tannins contribute to the medium-body, providing nice structure. A subtle savory character is present on the finish. Pair with Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog cheese with toasted baguette or roasted mushroom cream sauce with pappardelle.

PreVail Lookout Tree is a bold, yet refined wine. An enticing bouquet of molasses, raspberry sauce, sage, and tobacco lead to layered flavors of cassis, plum, and leather. The complex profile and forward tannin structure will allow this wine to evolve and age beautifully for many years.

Our 2021 Deepsown Pinot Noir is synonymous with elegance and finesse. Aromatics of redolent cherry and raspberry are accented by notes of allspice, mocha and Douglas fir tips. The palate draws you in with flavors of baked strawberry tart and hints of spice with fine tannins and refreshing acidity. Rich and seamless, this wine is very transparent in that it reflects all aspects of its crafting: from the climate and soil, to the vineyard and through the slow and gentle fermentation.

Enticing purple hues in the glass give way to aromas of dark cherry, Madagascar vanilla, notes of mocha, caramel, and baking spices. This wine is dense, yet gracefully structured with balanced acidity. Abundant dark fruit and gentle brown sugar notes flow through the long finish. A worthy illustration of all the Knights Valley has to offer.

Expressing the cool Carneros region, the fragrance of this pinot noir wafts with delicate notes of wild strawberries, dried rose and sage, followed by savory smoked meat and black tea. On the palate, the wine is round and open-knit, with mouth-filling flavors of red currant and cherry overlaying a core of dark fruit woven with a subtlety of sandalwood and earthy minerality. The wine entices with terroir-driven complexity, silky texture and glossy finish.

Sourced from vineyards with well-drained soils that produce exceptionally concentrated fruit, this merlot was aged for 17 months in French and American oak, prior to blending with 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. The Dry Creek Merlot opens with aromas and flavors of dried cherry and plum, joined by black fruits and savory notes of lavender and licorice, with hints of white pepper. Well balanced with good structure and a plush mouthfeel, with evident tannins and a lingering finish.

A well structured and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with inviting aromas of huckleberry, cedar, black pepper and a hint of dried sage. On the palate, bold tannins are balanced with flavors of black currant and dark cherry with savory notes of tobacco and graphite.
