Our 2021 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning representation of Sonoma County terroir. Dark fruit characters abound in this deeply layered wine. The 2022 Willie Mae opens with aromas of fresh red raspberry and tart cherry jam. The 2023 Rancho Santa Rosa Pinot Noir embodies the essence of the cool climate St. Rita Hills. The wine opens with aromas of red cherry, fresh raspberry, and accents of earthy black pepper. On the palate, bright fresh acidity, ribbons of hibiscus tea, raspberry fruit, and cherry cola are supported by moderate tannin leading to a juicy finish. This wine pairs perfectly with fromage and charcuterie.

The 2017 Cherryblock is a wine of great complexity, intricacy and sophistication. In the glass, the wine is deep purple with ruby highlights, and others intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Our 2022 Sophia’s Hillside Cuvée is primarily composed of our young hillside blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit from these estate vineyard blocks meld together to create a perfectly balanced, intense wine. It has the fruit-forward youthfulness and freshness of the young Cabernet Sauvignon that is softened and balanced by the French oak aging. Upon opening, deep aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and plum are intertwined with hints of graphite, tobacco, and a touch of violet. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet balanced, with rich flavors of dark fruit and baking spice, supported by velvety tannins and bright acidity. The oak adds layers of vanilla and toasted coconut, contributing to a long, structured finish with a touch of minerality. 

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It is a bold wine with layers of graphite, blueberry compote, and cassis fruit on the nose. The elegant tannin structure is complemented by abundant plum and blueberry flavors, with a complex finish consisting of espresso and black olive. This wine pairs well with prime or short rib, roast beef, venison or pasta dishes with dark meat-based sauces.

The 2021 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is a bold and hearty wine. Aromas of dried rose petals, crushed raspberries and briary fruit are present among opening. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy flavors of fresh raspberries and strawberry marmalade and notes of sweet spices. A hint of toasty oak lingers on the finish.

A textbook Rutherford Cabernet, this wine opens with a remarkable punch. Intense aromas of raspberry, plum, dried herbs, violet and lavender waft from the bottle.
