The 2021 Cherryblock Cabernet Sauvignon shows remarkable depth and complexity. Ripe black cherry, black currant, dried strawberry, red plum, and accents of vanilla and white pepper fill the nose. The palate delivers ample black and red brambly fruit flavors, seamlessly integrated with notes of caramel, cocoa, and subtle spice. This elegant wine will age gracefully for 10+ years with proper cellaring.

The 2021 Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is a bold and hearty wine. Aromas of dried rose petals, crushed raspberries and briary fruit are present among opening. The palate is medium-bodied with juicy flavors of fresh raspberries and strawberry marmalade and notes of sweet spices. A hint of toasty oak lingers on the finish.

This wine opens with lifted aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, black currant, and vanilla. On the palate, crushed berries and cassis give way to layers of opulent black and red berry fruit, with accents of vanilla. This wine is well-structured with the support of velvety tannins lingering on the long, elegant finish.

Our 2022 Sonoma County Reserve Merlot opens with vanilla bean and toasted spice on the nose. The sultry palate layers black tea, molasses, and cocoa over silky tannins lasting through the extended finish. Pair with prime rib or creamy mushroom pasta.

This Sonoma County Pinot Noir is a blend of predominately cooler coastal fruit and juicy valley fruit. Aromas of dried flowers, cherry vanilla cola and graham cracker accent this light-to-medium-bodied wine with supple texture and flavors of juicy black cherry, cola, cacao, and earl grey tea.

The 2022 vintage is the second release of our GSM – a classic Rhône style red wine blended from Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache grapes. The wine shows ample astringency with a voluptuous mid-palate. Flavors of strawberry jam, leather, white pepper, cocoa, and raspberry carry this wine through the ripe, balanced finish

Our 2022 Sophia’s Hillside Cuvée is primarily composed of our young hillside blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit from these estate vineyard blocks meld together to create a perfectly balanced, intense wine. It has the fruit-forward youthfulness and freshness of the young Cabernet Sauvignon that is softened and balanced by the French oak aging. Upon opening, deep aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis, and plum are intertwined with hints of graphite, tobacco, and a touch of violet. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet balanced, with rich flavors of dark fruit and baking spice, supported by velvety tannins and bright acidity. The oak adds layers of vanilla and toasted coconut, contributing to a long, structured finish with a touch of minerality. 

The 2022 Sonoma County Reserve Malbec offers an aromatic bouquet featuring red rose, black cherry, and sweet tobacco. Velvety tannins add elegant texture to layers of raspberry and leather flavors, accented by a touch of nutmeg. Enjoy with elk, paella, or pork ribs.

The 2020 Malbec is lush and juicy. Opening with aromas of boysenberry cobbler and a nuance of confectionery vanilla bean, that lead to red and black fruit on the palate. Pops of pomegranate acidity make this wine an ideal pairing for Thanksgiving dinner.

The 2022 Heritage Red has a strong Cabernet Sauvignon base, with Petit Verdot, Malbec, and a small amount of other reds artfully selected for the  final blend. This wine offers seductive aromas of milk chocolate, dried cherries,  leather and tobacco. The palate is well-balanced with concentrated flavors  of pomegranate, raspberry, vanilla bean, and cinnamon. Silky tannins create  an elegant mouthfeel and long-lasting finish. Enjoy with a black & blue  cheeseburger or beer-braised bratwursts.

Our 2021 Syrah opens with aromas of blackberries and violet candy. On the palate, it has silky-smooth tannin with mouthwatering notes of chocolate covered blackberries, faint notes of black pepper, and rich blueberry fruit compote with caramel chocolate on the finish. Its balanced acidity and lush tannins make this the ideal accompaniment to tri-tip, bison burgers, or tomato-based sauces such as Bolognese.

Aromas of juicy black berry, graphite, and black pepper lead to elegant tannins with balanced oak on the palate. Blue fruit, ripe blackberry, black pepper, and a ribbon of savory herbs round out this wine. Serve alongside gamey meats or traditional lasagna.

Our 2019 Gravel Bed Red is a harmonious expression of gravely vineyard sites from a moderately warm vintage. Its deep ruby red color leads into forward aromas of baked plum, earth, cassis and incense. Rich flavors of date, fig and sandalwood lead to a milk chocolate finish over fine tannins.

Our 2022 Estate Red opens with savory aromas of blueberry, blackberry, cigar box, tobacco leaf, black tea, and an underlying earthy/herbal tone. The palate is dense and complex with black cherry, vanilla, and roasted coffee bean flavors laced with supple tannins. This wine will age beautifully over the next 15 years.

The 2022 Estate Pinot Noir reveals aromas of cherry, strawberry, leather, truffle, forest floor, plum, and cinnamon. The medium-bodied palate is a beautiful representation of the varietal and the Chalone AVA. Opulent flavors of plum, bright red cherries, and strawberry are complemented by notes of toasty oak, hints of vanilla and spices, and supported by medium acidity.

Densely colored with intense aromas of luscious black cherry, forest floor and hints of baking spice that emerge from the glass. Its elegant mouth-filling texture nicely balances fresh acidity and silky-smooth tannins.

Our 2021 Handmade Cabernet Franc offers aromas and flavors of autumn leaves, cherry, raspberry, vanilla, graham cracker, and a touch of white pepper. This wine is medium-bodied with great texture and a long finish. Cellared properly this wine will continue to evolve in-bottle for 8-10 years. Serve with braised beef rib with deglazed Cabernet Franc sauce and roasted carrots.

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It is a bold wine with layers of roasted spiced plum flavors and hints of cocoa, vanilla, and toasty oak on the nose. The lush tannin structure is complemented by smooth acidity that persists long after each indulgent sip. This wine pairs well with prime or short rib, roast beef, venison or pasta dishes with dark meat-based sauces.

The 2021 Cabernet Franc is delicate yet layered. Aromas and flavors of plum, black currant, cinnamon, vanilla, green tobacco, and toasted marshmallow lead to a decadent, long-lasting crème brûlée finish.

The 2022 Hallberg Ranch Pinot Noir opens with delicate aromas of cherry, pomegranate, and wild strawberry with savory notes of crushed dried herbs. On the palate, red and black fruit flavors are framed by nuanced sweet oak.

This wine has delicate aromas of fresh raspberry and candied red cherry with hits of black pepper. On the palate it is light bodied, with fruit notes of rhubarb, cranberry, and red cherry cola, with nuance of toasted French oak framed by balanced acidity and tannin. This wine is graceful and intricate, making it ideal to pair with a variety of cuisine.

This easy-drinking blend has aromas of Bing cherry and juicy pomegranate. The wine is fruit-forward with flavors of raspberry and plum, finishing with a hint of cocoa. The lively acidity is balanced with a smooth finish.

This 2023 River’s Red is a unique blend with aromatics of cherry, berry, and a hint of blueberry. It is medium-bodied with a flavor blast of berries. Our 2021 Handmade Petit Verdot is dark and inky in the glass, opening with aromas of dark cherry, sage, violet, caramel, and forest floor. Bold and full on the palate, this wine has layered flavors of red cherry, plum compote, and cedar. The 48% new French oak aging softens the bold tannins and provides lingering notes of creamy vanilla and roasted coffee beans on the finish.

The 2021 Bar Lazy S Ranch Pinot Noir opens with aromas of candied strawberry rhubarb, accents of fresh cut roses, and raspberry liqueur. On the palate, elegant ceylon tea tannin, accents of black pepper, and candied cherries meld seamlessly with flavors of confectionery cherry cola on the lengthy finish.

Our 2021 Sangiovese opens with aromas of violet, cherry, cola, and a hint of sarsaparilla. On the palate, bright white cherry flavors are supported by persistent tannins in the mid-palate, with nuance of graphite and cedar on the finish. We recommend pairing this wine with pasta carbonara, squid ink seafood risotto, or chocolate cherry brownies.
