Our 2021 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant expression of the very best of the varietal grown on our Alexander Valley estate. PreVail Lookout Tree is a bold, yet refined wine. An enticing bouquet of maple, spiced plum, violet and tobacco lead to layered flavors of cassis, raspberry, licorice and leather. The complex profile and forward tannin structure will allow this wine to evolve and age beautifully for many years.

The 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of the five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness. This wine should be decanted when young, and will only gain in complexity for the next 15-20 years.

This wine is drinking well in its youth, but will improve over the next 10+ years.
