Our 2023 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied and expansive. On the nose, cedar, cassis, and allspice create an intriguing medley. Leather and black plum jam flavors flow beneath hints of cocoa and warm caramel. The finish is persistent and satisfying.

Upon opening, sultry aromas of sage, plum, dark cherry, forest floor, and spices fill the nose. This full-bodied Cabernet is layered with complex flavors of cherry cola, Santa Rosa plum, and fresh flowers. The finish is smooth and rich.

Our 2021 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning representation of Sonoma County terroir. Dark fruit characters abound in this deeply layered wine. Black plum and cherry, leather and black tea leaf marry with notes of dark chocolate and sweet toasted oak. Velvety tannins carry this wine through a lengthy, satisfying finish. We recommend pairing with grilled Portobello mushroom burgers with blue cheese, or barbecue beef brisket.

The 2022 Cherryblock Cabernet Sauvignon shows remarkable depth and complexity. Black cherries, black currant, cocoa, and graphite waft from the glass. Generous blackberry and black cherry flavors dominate the palate, with notes of dark chocolate and subtle spice. This wine is layered and nuanced with balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins.

Upon opening, aromas of espresso and cassis fill the nose. On the palate, this is a lighter-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with accents of red plum, graphite, and black olive. It’s earthy and bright with nuance of cranberry and black pepper, finishing with French oak on the long finish.

The 2022 Merus is a tribute to its long-standing reputation of superior quality and artistry. On the nose, aromas of cinnamon, cloves, tobacco, cherry, cocoa powder, and raspberry create intrigue. The palate offers a distinct mouthfeel offered by only the most exquisite Cabernets: bold, refined tannins with a smooth, velvety texture, and seemingly endless layers of complexity. This wine is suited for decadent meals such as grilled Wagyu steak, duck breast with plum sauce, or pappardelle with wild boar ragu. Decant this wine in its youth, or cell for 10-15 years.

This wine opens with lifted aromas of boysenberry, blackberry, black currant, and vanilla. On the palate, crushed berries and cassis give way to layers of opulent black and red berry fruit, with accents of vanilla. This wine is well-structured with the support of velvety tannins lingering on the long, elegant finish.

The 2021 Nicole’s Proprietary Red is a blend created from the best barrels of our estate’s finest vineyard blocks. The final composition consists primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon with a small amount of Merlot. The bouquet is powerful yet refined with floral notes, tobacco, and black pepper. On the palate this wine shows soft, supple tannins with flavors of stone fruit, dark cherry, and plum. Balanced by its acidity, polished tannins and exotic oak, the wine shows a beautiful juxtaposition with contrasting flavors that work well to deliver a long and lingering finish. Nicole’s should be decanted when young and should age for 20+ years.

The Cab 2023 opens with a bouquet of clove, caramel, baking spice, and leather. The palate delivers velvety tannins with flavors of blackberry, cocoa, nutmeg, and vanilla on the finish.

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It is a bold wine with layers of graphite, blueberry compote, and cassis fruit on the nose. The elegant tannin structure is complemented by abundant plum and blueberry flavors, with a complex finish consisting of espresso and black olive. This wine pairs well with prime or short rib, roast beef, venison or pasta dishes with dark meat-based sauces.

Only produced in exceptional vintages, this incredible blend for our 2021 vintage was selected from the best barrels form our top Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot blocks. The 2021 introduces rich notes of cigar box, dark fruit, black cherry, black currant, leather, and tea. This blend expresses smooth, velvety tannins with rich layers of complexity. It is a deep, intense, powerfully built wine that captures the heart and soul of our stunning estate. I am proud to give this wine my name.

Our Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, purple-ruby in color with aromas of baked plum pie, dried black currant, lavender and violets with hints of cedar of anise. A juicy entry on the mouth delivers plush, fine tannins with a velvety texture.This approachable, medium-bodied cabernet has full, yet silky flavors of plum, berries, vanilla and graham cracker. A finale of round tannins leads to a dry, smooth finish. It plays nicely with California grass fed beef burgers, balsamic lamb shank or grilled beef short ribs.

The 2022 Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse wine. It opens with bold black cherry, black currant,
and dark chocolate aromas. The palate offers abundant dark brambly fruit flavors - blackberry, blueberry, cocoa,
and spice. Velvety tannins carry this wine through the long, elegant finish. Enjoy paired with bacon-wrapped dates
stuffed with goat cheese, lamb chops with garlic and herbs, or a variety of hearty meat dishes.

Our 2023 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, decadent wine from it’s dark red color to it’s full-bodied structure. On the nose, there are concentrated aromas of ripe blackberry and cassis interlaced with vanilla and subtle spice notes. The palate is elegant and fruitful - black cherry, graphite and dark chocolate swirl amid velvety tannins A touch of sweet oak is present on the long, lifted finish.

An excellent tribute to the varietal and terroir, the 2022 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a bouquet of lavender, raspberry, mint, cocoa, cherry compote, and blueberry. The beautifully orchestrated palate offers a rich entry with superb depth of character, showcasing black cherry flavors accented by cream and black pepper. Serve with grilled Portobello mushroom or aged Manchego cheese.

On the nose, our 2019 Old Vine Cabernet Sauvignon opens with enticing aromas of blackstrap molasses, mint, cinnamon, blueberries and espresso. These notes carry through to the palate with additional flavors of white cherry and green plum. Bright acidity and youthful tannins give this wine ample aging potential.

This Chairman Series wine is made from our best Cabernet Sauvignon block on the estate. It opens with beautiful aromas of lush black currant fruit and accents of kalamata olive. On the palate, the wine has 
bold tannin that ripple into chewy, chalky notes of cedar, pomegranate, and earthy graphite. Decant this wine to showcase its layers. Serve with steak frites.

The 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerhouse from the first swirl of the glass. Ripe, brooding, dark fruit with graphite and pencil shaving aromas finish with toasted oak and caramel. On the palate, abundant black cherry, blackberry, blueberry, and notes of leather culminate in a robust, yet smooth and lengthy finish. This wine pairs beautifully with Korean bulgogi, lamb and beef lasagna, or flank steak with chimichurri.

Deep ruby in the glass, our 2016 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla, tobacco, black currant and anise which leads to an exceptionally soft wine across the palate. Complex flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of cocoa, graphite and savory herbs. This wine is structured with firm but smooth tannins that lead to a satisfyingly long finish.
