The 2022 vintage was another warm and fast-paced year. Warm temperatures continued into summer setting the stage for full ripening, fresh acidity and beautifully balanced fruit. Our 2022 Estate Chardonnay is creamy, rich and elegant with complex aromas and flavors of baked bread, pear, hazelnut, and toasted marshmallow. This is an age-worthy wine of exceptional quality known for its full mouthfeel and exquisite long finish.

Our 2018 Sonoma County Merlot offers aromas reminiscent of a holiday potpourri. Scents of cinnamon and cherry are supported by earthy notes with a touch of white pepper. On the palate, clove, vanilla and cranberry marry together with a Christmas spice finish making this wine a nostalgic journey for the senses.

The Chairman Series Lineage is a bold and distinguished red. On the nose, roasted spiced plum pie with hints of espresso, vanilla and toasty oak intermingle creating a mouthwatering aroma. Layers of dense flavors mimic the bouquet with strong support from a perfectly balanced tannin-acid structure. Our 2019 Gravel Bed Red is a harmonious expression of gravely vineyard sites from a moderately warm vintage. Its deep ruby red color leads into forward aromas of baked plum, earth, cassis and incense. Rich flavors of date, fig and sandalwood lead to a milk chocolate finish over fine tannins.

Our 2022 Pinot Grigio is opens with lively aromatics of ripe peach, ginger root, star anise and subtle mineral notes. The palate is fresh and tropical with flavors of granny smith apple, fresh orchard peach, banana and juicy mango. This is a wonderful expression of the varietal with a smooth, refreshing finish.

Grown 100% on our Alexander Valley estate, our Samantha’s Sauvignon Blanc showcases the very best of the varietal and the AVA. On the nose, bright floral and melon aromas draw you in. The pronounced, crisp acidity is balanced by a creaminess from the partial French oak aging, while a subtle mineral texture from the concrete egg aging lingers on the smooth finish.

The 2021 Roussanne is the first vintage bottling of its kind from Kuleto Estate. The 2023 Acrobat Rosé is fresh and inviting. Pale pink in color, this Rosé exudes aromas and flavors of wild strawberry, guava, and grapefruit. The palate is medium-bodied, finishing with crisp acidity.

The 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of the five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness. This wine should be decanted when young, and will only gain in complexity for the next 15-20 years.

The 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of all five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. Dark, rich fruit presents aromas of wild game on the nose. On the palate there are hints of blackberry compote and dark stone fruit flavors. An incredible display of the rich and concentrated flavors that come from our estate vineyards, this wine glides across the palate for a long, decadent finish.

A delicate yet persistent mousse highlights soft floral notes on the nose with a hint of almonds and fresh hazelnuts. Superb structure and length on the palate introduce white fruits in perfect balance with a particularly pleasing minerality and undertones of brioche/yeastiness.

Deep ruby in the glass, our 2016 Handmade Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of vanilla, tobacco, black currant and anise which leads to an exceptionally soft wine across the palate. Complex flavors of dark cherry and blackberry are complemented by hints of cocoa, graphite and savory herbs. This wine is structured with firm but smooth tannins that lead to a satisfyingly long finish.

The 2021 Reserve Pinot Noir shines ruby red in the glass with a classic cool climate nose of fresh strawberry, red cherry, and forest floor. Medium bodied, the palate showcases ripe and sultry flavors of Chinese five spice and ripe cherry with a silky viscosity of dried figs. The finish is elegantly laced with ripe tannins, framed with hints of toasty oak.

This beautiful wine opens with dark and rich aromatics of coffee bean, smooth caramel and dark chocolate covered toffee. On the palate, velvety tannins mingle with hints of roasted almonds and chocolate cherries making this a well-integrated wine that finishes with hints of tobacco and leather.

A well structured and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with inviting aromas of huckleberry, cedar, black pepper and a hint of dried sage. On the palate, bold tannins are balanced with flavors of black currant and dark cherry with savory notes of tobacco and graphite. While approachable now, it will age beautifully over the next 5-10 years.

Our 2019 Syrah displays a deep ruby color in the glass and offers fruitful notes of rich berry, intense black currant, boysenberry, and black olive. This is a full-bodied wine with coated tannins and firm acidity on the palate that concludes with a smooth, lingering finish.

The deep red-purple color gives the hint of what follows in the nose and mouth. Aromas of black plums, black currants, sweet aromatic herbs, talcum powder, and tar combine to produce a bouquet that is so evocative of the Coombsville area in late fall. It enters the palate with a thick and sweet sensation, flows evenly to all corners of the mouth, and then tapers to a clean and polished finish. This is a classic beauty of a wine.

Aromas of dried cherry, cranberry, plum, caramel and mocha fill the senses, followed by vibrant flavors of cherry pie filling and cola. A velvety texture and bright acidity distinguish this naturally-balance wine.

The 2018 Merus is a dark and powerful wine. Aromas of cassis and blackberry fill the nose, with undertones of vanilla bean, cedar and graphite. A full body and plush velvety tannins fill the mouth with deep flavors of saturated black fruits. Hints of vanilla and a fine grain oak texture from the 100% new French oak aging linger on the finish. Decant for one hour for maximum enjoyment.
