The 2019 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon captures the pure expression of our unique terroir at Lancaster Estate. It is a blend of four of the five of the red Bordeaux varietals we have planted on our volcanic hillside vineyards. The nose is rich with aromas of dark plum, tobacco and black pepper. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit, dried sage and a subtle earthiness.

Upon opening, freshly picked cranberries, raspberries and accents of red cherry compote fill the air. This wine is mouthwatering with light body and minimal tannin, showcasing the exquisite fruit of Sta. Rita Hills. Fruit-forward notes of juicy black berries, cherry and freshly squeezed pomegranate juice are accented by faint black pepper and Ceylon tea-like tannin lingering through the finish. Our 2024 Rosé of Pinot Noir offers fresh and fruitful aromas and flavors. Juicy notes of strawberry and watermelon are lifted by bright acidity, finishing crisp and clean. This wine is excellent on its own or served with cured meats, cheese and olives, or grilled shrimp with citrus vinaigrette.

Our 2022 Deepsown Pinot Noir is synonymous with elegance and finesse. Aromatics of wild strawberry, cranberry, and baked cherry are accented by notes of damp earth, dried orange peel and baking spice. The mouthfeel is elegant, round, soft, and velvety. This Reserve Pinot Blanc combines mouthwatering aromas of pear and honeydew melon with notes of lime zest. The palate is mineral-driven with a briny character and complex interplay of acidity and richness that resolves on the lengthy finish. The 2021 St. Jean Vineyard Cabernet Franc is a dark, concentrated wine. On the nose, black cherry, crème de cassis, and dark chocolate notes swirl among accents of spice. Our 2021 Walla Walla Valley Syrah is rustic and juicy. This wine opens with aromatics of crushed blackberries with a hint of warm baking spices. This is a medium-bodied syrah with concentrated mouth-filling flavors of ripe red fruit and fig that leads to a lingering finish.

The 2021 Willamette Valley Chardonnay is an elegant wine with beautiful, delicate aromas of stone fruit and lemon peel with soft hints of caramel and roasted almonds. The palate has a lively entry full of bright citrus that transitions into a creamy mid-palate with a touch of fresh baked bread. The finish is soft with a lingering minerality and notes of wet stone.

The 2024 growing season kicked off with cool spring temperatures. A few summer heat spells nudged the ripening along, while cool nights helped preserve acidity and freshness in the fruit. Harvest held a fast pace and delivered beautiful fruit quality.

Rich, concentrated, and well-knit layers of black cherry liquor, cocoa, nutmeg, toasted oak, and tea leaves. Dense tannins and great acidity provide balance and structure to this full-bodied Cabernet for the ages.

Our 2020 Blanc de Noirs is crisp and clean with bright citrus, Melipona honey, and floral notes coupled with subtle croissant and fine mousse characters. Pair with arugula salad with goat cheese, almonds, and Champagne vinaigrette or seared scallops with beurre blanc.

Our 2021 Malbec is a savory and layered tribute to the varietal. Aromas of dark boysenberry cobbler, sun-ripened plum, and accents of violet and graphite lead to a rich, opulent palate. The 2022 vintage was another warm and fast-paced year. Warm temperatures continued into summer setting the stage for full ripening, fresh acidity, and beautifully balanced fruit. Elegant aromas of blossoming white flowers, lemon peel, citrus, and ripe pear are vibrant in our 2022 Pinot Gris. The palate is crisp and bright, with a touch of honeydew melon and a flinty finish. Great on a warm summer day as an apéritif or paired with fresh seafood and vegetables.

Red ruby in the glass, our 2021 Merlot showcases red and blue fruits, composed of dried cherries, ripe strawberry, red raspberry jam, and plum. A very pleasant complexity on the palate with baking spice, leather, and earthy notes of arugula. With a good balance of fruit, body, and tannin, this wine is perfect for porchetta, aged Manchego cheese, and baked truffle pastas.

Our 2022 Red Mountain Petit Verdot is impenetrably dark with powerful espresso and graphite aromatics and hints of cocoa. It is commanding with flavors of pomegranate, salal, and milk chocolate with lush tannins that lead to an opulent finish.

This Italian-inspired blend opens with a well-integrated nose of fresh raspberries and cherries jubilee followed by notes of cedar and tarragon. The touch of Malbec adds a bit of depth on the palate showcasing flavors of blackberry, complimented by the addition of cranberry and fig notes from the Sangiovese. The flavors follow with rich, red fruit complemented by a balanced body and lingering finish.

The 2024 Grüner opens with a bouquet of kiwi fruit and fresh nectarine. On the palate, the wine is crisp, offering bright acidity and light body. Flavors of white peach and pineapple dominate with a refreshing finish. This is the perfect brunch wine, served with leek quiche, sashimi, or fresh goat cheese and herb frittata.

The 2022 Malbec opens with mouthwatering aromas of berry cobbler and pomegranate. Our 2021 Gravel Bed Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunning representation of Sonoma County terroir. Dark fruit characters abound in this deeply layered wine. Black plum and cherry, leather and black tea leaf marry with notes of dark chocolate and sweet toasted oak. Velvety tannins carry this wine through a lengthy, satisfying finish. We recommend pairing with grilled Portobello mushroom burgers with blue cheese, or barbecue beef brisket.

Our 2022 Cabernet Franc is chock-full of enticing aromas of cassis, raspberry, and graphite. The 2022 Alexander Valley Merlot opens with enticing aromas of blueberry, Santa Rosa plum, and vanilla. On the palate, sweet oak and caramel frame layers of dark fruit and mocha flavors. This wine is soft and juicy with fine-grained tannins adding fullness and length to finish.

The 2020 Brut sparkling opens with aromas of golden delicious apple, pear, and brioche. On the palate, fine mousse is accompanied by a smooth richness and velvety bubbles. Flavors of apple compote, pear, hazelnut and hints of walnut linger on the finish. 

The fruit for this wine was harvested and sorted in the vineyard prior to arrival at the winery. The clusters were then carefully destemmed to keep the berries intact. Additional hand sorting removed any jack stems before the fruit was transferred to small, stainless steel, open-top fermenters. The juice and skins were cold-soaked for 4 days prior to fermentation and then gently punched down for several days. After primary fermentation was complete, the new wine was drained and the skins were gently pressed. This wine is 100% stainless steel fermented and aged.

The 2022 Alexander Valley Chardonnay offers a bright, fresh profile. Aromas of lemon, quince paste, and vanilla spice lead to flavors of yellow apple, tangerine, and grilled pineapple on the palate. Toasted marshmallow, caramel, and brioche round out the finish.
