Our 2018 Sonoma County Merlot offers aromas reminiscent of a holiday potpourri. Scents of cinnamon and cherry are supported by earthy notes with a touch of white pepper. On the palate, clove, vanilla and cranberry marry together with a Christmas spice finish making this wine a nostalgic journey for the senses.

Aromas and flavors of crisp yellow apple, white nectarine, apricot, underripe pineapple and a hint of graham cracker. Balanced acidity and a creamy mouthfeel are followed by a clean, minerally finish.

Pale straw color. Aromas of light tropical fruit and yellow apple with floral highlights. Medium-bodied with fresh, juicy fruit flavors of tropical citrus, pear and perfectly ripe apple. Nicely rounded edges give a light toasty softness to the moderately long, mineraldriven finish.

The Hallberg vineyard just outside Sebastopol features Goldridge sand-loam soils and with sunny days moderated by cool coastal breezes and fog. Aromas and flavors of bright red cherry and raspberry fruit are framed by baking spices, leading to a rich, plush mouthfeel and a lingering finish.

Rich, concentrated, and well-knit layers of black cherry liquor, cocoa, nutmeg, toasted oak, and tea leaves. Dense tannins and great acidity provide balance and structure to this full-bodied Cabernet for the ages.

This wine has aromas of cedar, plum and coco powder that show promise of depth and complexity. On the palate the first thing is how the soft entry turns to richness and roundness. Plenty of dark fruit, plum, boysenberry and blackberry with a long, silky finish.

Dark and inky purple in the glass, the wine throws vibrant aromas of violets and plum. On the palate the firm tannins support a fruit core of black cherry with blueberries, more subtle notes of Indian ink, oak shavings and blueberry pie compliment the depth and complexity of this wine. Good acidity keep the vibrancy of the fruit which evolves through to secondary characteristics of aged leather and musk.

Complex, velvety and bold, the 2016 Cherryblock delivers a great deal of intricacy and sophistication. The wine fills the glass with deep purple and ruby highlights, followed by intense, concentrated aromas of blackberry, vanilla and baking spices. Waves of rich black fruit wash over the palate, with complex layers of cedar and tobacco. The tannins from this vintage were more intense than usual due to the smaller crop size, leading us to blend in a little more Merlot than is typical. The finish is framed by full soft tannins and lingering notes of herbs and spice.

Upon swirling the glass, you’ll notice aromas of cassis, black olive, and dried oregano. On the palate, smooth tannins with well-integrated oak provide the backbone for bold flavors of black currant, dried sweet tobacco, graphite, accents of cedar, and ribbons of caramel and espresso. Decant and enjoy with steak frites.

This Reserve Malbec bursts forth with generous aromas of blueberry pie vanilla and white pepper. The nose leads to a lush palate of jammy dark berries and huckleberries framed by sweet toasty oak and leading to a long, rich finish.
