The 2022 Estate Pinot Noir reveals aromas of cherry, strawberry, leather, truffle, forest floor, plum, and cinnamon. The medium-bodied palate is a beautiful representation of the varietal and the Chalone AVA. Opulent flavors of plum, bright red cherries, and strawberry are complemented by notes of toasty oak, hints of vanilla and spices, and supported by medium acidity.

Our 2021 Pinot Blanc was fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures until dryness. It opens with aromas of golden apple, honey, pear and citrus notes, with a touch of wet riverstone minerality. On the palate, a firm mouthfeel leads to a lingering and silky finish.

The 2020 Brut sparkling opens with aromas of golden delicious apple, pear, and brioche. On the palate, fine mousse is accompanied by a smooth richness and velvety bubbles. Flavors of apple compote, pear, hazelnut and hints of walnut linger on the finish. 

The 2022 vintage is the second release of our GSM – a classic Rhône style red wine blended from Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache grapes. The wine shows ample astringency with a voluptuous mid-palate. Flavors of strawberry jam, leather, white pepper, cocoa, and raspberry carry this wine through the ripe, balanced finish

The Chalone 2021 Chardonnay Musqué is expressive and bright. Fruit-forward aromas of Meyer lemons, white peaches, and nectarines are accompanied by floral notes and a touch of wet stone. On the palate, mouthwatering acidity and a lingering minerality provide a vibrant and satisfying finish.

The Chalone 2021 Syrah exhibits a deep ruby red color that is inky and dark in the glass. The nose and palate are expressive of cool climate flavor characteristics such as blueberry, red cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, white pepper, and spice. The full-bodied midpalate possesses a gorgeous structure led by textured tannins and brisk acidity that lingers throughout the finish.

The 2023 vintage opens with a generous bouquet of pear, banana, and honeysuckle. The palate offers a full-bodied viscous texture, brimming with citrus, melon, and honey flavors. This wine is dry and crisp with bright acidity that persists throughout the fresh and lively finish.

Our golden-hued 2020 Chardonnay opens with lemon curd and mandarin orange with hints of toasted brioche. These characters carry through to the honeyed, full mid-palate where classic Chalone wet rock minerality provides a lifted, elegant finish.

The Chalone 2019 Grenache exhibits intriguing characters of red plum, smoky oak, tart blackberry, and balanced minerality. The palate possesses robust, yet silky tannins that deliver a luscious and lingering finish.
