Our Rancho Santa Rosa Pinot Noir embodies the essence of the cool climate Sta. Rita Hills. Our 2018 opens with aromas of ripe fruit, dark boysenberry, pomegranate and ribbons of cherry. On the palate this pinot noir offers classic notes of black pepper, boysenberry, plum and dark cherry with a soft finish of dark cacao and pomegranate acidity. With moderate tannins, balanced acidity and lush fruit on the finish, this wine is perfect alongside cedar plank grilled salmon, pork tenderloin or BBQ pork ribs.

Our 2020 Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay opens with aromas of fresh floral gardenia, cookie wafer with a hint of vanilla bean custard. Notes of candied lemon, white peach and vanilla wafer meld together to offer a viscosity finish on the palate. Pair alongside a bowl of butternut squash ravioli for a delightful pairing.

Our 2019 Courtney’s Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay has aromatics of freshly picked lemons with hints of gardenia blossoms. On the palate, this Chardonnay expresses a rich and decadent profile of candied lemon rind with notes of creamy panna cotta and hints of vanilla bean. The elegant and balanced flavors of fruit and French oak barrels bring out the smooth tannins on the finish.

Named for Proprietor Bill Foley’s aunt, our 2019 Willie Mae Pinot Noir is a textbook cool-climate Pinot. Aromatics of spiced red plum fruit and raspberry jam fill the nose on the glass. This wine possesses striking oak tannins with notes of cranberry, crisp red apple, and black pepper that bring out the balanced palate.

Our Reserve Chardonnay has aromatics of candied lemon lime zest with toasted brioche accents and hints of sweet honey comb. On the palate, this Chardonnay has a rich and decadent profile reminiscent of pineapple upside down cake with notes of creamy custard and tart lemon bars. The finish showcases the integration of fruit and French oak barrels with notes of ripe pineapple and vanilla wafer.

The 2019 Annie Dyer Pinot Noir opens with aromas of ripe, juicy blackberries and boysenberries with hints of spiced plum jam. On the palate this wine is lush, with accents of dried raspberries, black cherry jam and espresso beans that are complemented by nuances of vanilla and marzapan from its time in toasted French oak barrels.

One of the gems on our estate vineyard is our limited production, cool climate Syrah. Our 2018 is inky in color with aromas of black cherry, and black pepper that evolve into notes of dry cedar and caramelized sugar. The palate is powerful with blueberry, smoked meat and is accented by pomegranate fruit. Structured tannins and acidity linger into notes of dried herbs and black olive on the finish.

Our 2018 Courtney’s Vineyard Reserve Chardonnay is a rich and decadent wine with aromas of toasted graham cracker and fresh honeysuckle flower that lead to a perfectly balanced palate.

Our La Cuesta Cabernet Sauvignon has rich aromatics of concentrated cassis, black olive and berries. The palate has a medium body and hints of graphite that are of reminiscent of Cabernets from Bordeaux. On the palate, there are notes of rich blackberry, plum, cassis with accents of espresso grounds, cranberry and charred cedar plank.

The 2019 Lindsay’s Pinot Noir opens with aromas of bright red cherry cola and cranberry fruit. On the palate, it is a light-bodied Pinot Noir with dominate flavors of red cranberry tart and fresh red raspberry purée. Spiced peppercorn, dried cherry, and raspberry fruit notes linger on the finish. This wine would be a delight paired with a creamy fromage.

Our Carol Ann Chardonnay takes its name after Proprietor Bill Foley’s wife and is the perfect introduction to world-class Sta. Rita Hills grown chardonnay with the balance of austerity and elegance. The wine opens with aromas of toasted hazelnut, fresh clover honey, lemon curd and nuance of vanilla bean. The palate is reminiscent of Chablis with lean minerality, refined fruit, and balanced yet moderate oak. Notes of lemon curd and vanilla waffer cookies linger on the finish.

Pungent aromas of tight-grained oak meet with almonds, pecans and lemon sorbet on the opulent attention-grabbing nose. Woody flavors of sandalwood and cedar continue to the palate, which is crisp, clean and salty but not unctuous at all, with tangy citrus on the finish.
