Our 2020 Blanc de Noirs is crisp and clean with bright citrus, Melipona honey, and floral notes coupled with subtle croissant and fine mousse characters. Pair with arugula salad with goat cheese, almonds, and Champagne vinaigrette or seared scallops with beurre blanc.

The Dry Creek Merlot opens with aromas and flavors of dried cherry and plum, joined by black fruits and savory notes of lavender and licorice, with hints of white pepper. Well-balanced with good structure and a plush mouthfeel, with evident tannins and a lingering finish.

Botrytis-affected fruit for this wine is carefully hand-selected from the Belle Terre Vineyard, located on the Russian River in southern Alexander Valley. The Eighty-Five Fifty-Five Cuvée is an exuberant expression of Sonoma County, with buoyant aromas of crushed boysenberries, black plums and blueberry preserves wafting from the glass, followed by savory hints of smoked meat, black pepper and dried herbs. Behind the wine’s stature lies a generosity of ripe, brambly, black and blue fruit, expansive in the mouth, followed by notes of chocolate, spice and earthy minerality. This full-bodied, chiseled and balanced wine leaves a persistent, mouthwatering finish.

The combination of dry farming and cool microclimate shows in the intensity of ruby color, pure flavors and seamless structure of the Hallberg Pinot Noir. The complex nose opens with juicy aromas of red fruit and berry confiture. The wine glides on the palate with luxurious texture and seamless balance, its vibrant acidity enhancing the intensity of fruit on the mid-palate.

Founder’s Block is known for producing wines of exceptional character. The 2022 is a delight for the senses with enticing aromas of nectarine, baking spice, ginger, and white flower. The richness of this wine is beautifully balanced with subtle minerality and bright acidity supporting layers of stone fruit and baked apple flavors. Serve lightly chilled with smoked salmon with lemon aioli and toasted brioche, fresh peach salad with baby greens, goat cheese and pistachios, or a garden pizza with basil pesto.

The 2018 Cinq Cépages opens with inviting aromas of cassis, blackberry jam, a touch of dried currants, leather, and soft nutmeg and cardamom spice notes. The palate offers more dark fruits with rich, ripe, jammy fruit, black cherries, plums and cassis and notes of vanilla and maple spice. The wine is well-structured with silky tannins leading to a satisfying finish. Rewarding and ready for enjoyment now, the 2018 vintage will also evolve over time with proper cellaring.

The opening bouquet offers layers of aromas including black raspberry, sweet currant, lifted perfumed violet and notes of baking chocolate. Secondary aromas of roasted coffee and nuanced notes of Earl Gray tea and spice add complexity. The aromas lead to a plush palate with depth of flavors including raspberry compote and dark chocolate. The full-bodied wine is rich and refined with well-integrated, ripe tannins giving good structure.

Our Reserve wines are crafted by selecting the vineyard lots from throughout Sonoma County that offer the most generous fruit expression and ability to age. This Reserve Malbec bursts forth with generous aromas of blueberry pie vanilla and white pepper. The nose leads to a lush palate of jammy dark berries and huckleberries framed by sweet toasty oak and leading to a long, rich finish.

The 2007 vintage of the Cinq Cépages is one of elegance. The nose is vivid with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and rose petal floral notes. The palate offers a rich, plush dark fruit density surrounded by fine tannins and a raw silk texture. Complex layers of boysenberry, black plum and roasted coffee combine beautifully with notes of mocha. This wine has beautiful oak integration and a juicy core that leads to a lingering finish with hints of clove spice.
