Our 2019 Syrah is bold and distinct. This wine delivers aromas and flavors of zesty white pepper and rich dark fruit. Its balanced acidity and lush tannins make this the ideal accompaniment to tri-tip, bison burgers, or tomato-based sauces such as Bolognese.

This 2019 Syrah displays aromas of boysenberry jam, wild game and black tea. On the palate, indulgent flavors of blackberry, plum, black cherry, and dark chocolate delight the senses. This wine is bold, offering a beautifully inky color and layers of rich, dense characters melding seamlessly with silky tannins.

Purple and richly hued, this opulent wine makes an immediate, big impression with juicy aromas and flavors of black currant and wild blackberry, accented by violet, citrus spice and cassis. Distinct notes of white pepper and dark chocolate lead to a silky mouthfeel with velvety tannins, full, rich and dense with a long, lingering finish.

The Chalone 2021 Syrah exhibits a deep ruby red color that is inky and dark in the glass. The nose and palate are expressive of cool climate flavor characteristics such as blueberry, red cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, white pepper, and spice. The full-bodied midpalate possesses a gorgeous structure led by textured tannins and brisk acidity that lingers throughout the finish.

Dark and inky in the glass, our 2017 Syrah offers bold aromas and flavors of boysenberry, plum, smoked meats and tobacco. Additional notes of chocolate and cherry cola linger on the smooth, yet tannin driven finish. This vintage, added a small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon for additional depth and structure.

Our 2018 Syrah is bold and complex. Notes of dark fruit, cinnamon, and vanilla are revealed on the nose and echoed on the palate. Evolving flavors of leather and tobacco leaf are intertwined with hints of toasted oak and framed by well-structured tannins.
