Garnet-colored, the 2021 Rosé opens with strawberry and cherry aromas. On the palate, the bright red fruit flavors continue, joined by tender vanilla from barrel aging.

Our 2021 Pinot Blanc was fermented in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures until dryness. It opens with aromas of golden apple, honey, pear and citrus notes, with a touch of wet riverstone minerality. On the palate, a firm mouthfeel leads to a lingering and silky finish.

The Chenin Blanc captures both the terroir and the long history of Chalone Vineyard. The 2022 vintage displays a golden-hued straw color in the glass and uncovers aromas of honey, green pear, and chamomile. The palate possesses a full-bodied viscous texture, brimming with notes of Golden Delicious apple and honeydew melon. This wine is dry and crisp with bright acidity that persists throughout the fresh and lively finish.

The Chalone 2021 Chardonnay Musqué is expressive and bright. Fruit-forward aromas of Meyer lemons, white peaches, and nectarines are accompanied by floral notes and a touch of wet stone. On the palate, mouthwatering acidity and a lingering minerality provide a vibrant and satisfying finish.

A dark garnet-brick color is displayed in the glass, and is met with an intricacy of Bing cherry, vanilla, red plum, and forest floor aromas. The flavor notes on the palate are consistent with the nose, with evolving flavors of raspberry, mushroom, and a hint of truffle. A luscious and structured mid-palate is characterized by grippy tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a pleasantly long finish.

The Chalone 2021 Grenache showcases a light, fire engine red color in the glass. The nose is defined by a strawberry jam character with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove spice; and the palate is led by fruit-forward notes of raspberry and mulberry while still holding on to the savory minerality that is unique to Chalone Vineyard’s terroir. This is a lighter expression of Grenache that is not too bold or broad, with medium-gripped tannins and a pleasant oaky finish.

The 2021 vintage is the first release of our GSM – a classic Rhône style red wine blended from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes. The wine presents itself in a deep brick and ruby red color in the glass and reveals an assortment of aromas such as raspberry, strawberry, leather, baking spice, and white pepper. A layered mid-palate led by bold red fruit flavors and medium astringency is complemented with bright acidity and satin-smooth tannins.

The Chalone 2021 Syrah exhibits a deep ruby red color that is inky and dark in the glass. The nose and palate are expressive of cool climate flavor characteristics such as blueberry, red cherry, vanilla, tobacco, leather, white pepper, and spice. The full-bodied midpalate possesses a gorgeous structure led by textured tannins and brisk acidity that lingers throughout the finish.

The Chalone 2019 Grenache exhibits intriguing characters of red plum, smoky oak, tart blackberry, and balanced minerality. The palate possesses robust, yet silky tannins that deliver a luscious and lingering finish.

The 2019 Syrah displays a dark inky to purple hue in the glass and reveals captivating aromas of blackberry, plum and white pepper. Notes of black cherry and peppery spice mingle seamlessly on the mid-palate with chewy tannins and vibrant acidity.

The 2023 vintage opens with a generous bouquet of pear, banana, and honeysuckle. The palate offers a full-bodied viscous texture, brimming with citrus, melon, and honey flavors. This wine is dry and crisp with bright acidity that persists throughout the fresh and lively finish.

The Chalone 2022 Chardonnay Musqué displays golden yellow hues in the glass with pronounced floral aromas on the nose. This is a medium-bodied wine, characterized by tropical flavors of juicy lychee and ripe pineapple with a touch of lemon sorbet and grapefruit.
