2020 The Four Graces Pinot Gris, Willamette Valley
Beautiful bright aromas of tropical fruit, fresh lime and honeysuckle flower mingle in the glass with a hint of struck flint. The palate continues with fresh lemon and lime zest followed by a touch of quince and wet stone, which leads into a vibrant lingering acidity.

The winter of 2019 and 2020 was relatively mild and dry, which brought a cool spring with few frost events. We experienced rain during flowering, but this resulted in smaller berries and low crop yields. A warm summer was leading up to a small, but promising harvest. Due to high winds on Labor Day and wildfires across Oregon, this made for a very challenging harvest. The pinot gris for this wine was harvested at two periods during harvest: early and late. In the blend, the early harvest component provides a wine with freshness and acidity, while the later harvest is characterized by richness, and tropical fruit aromatics.
The grapes for The Four Graces Pinot Gris are sourced from our Foley Family Estate vineyard as well as select vineyards in Willamette Valley.
