Best of the Best - North Coast Wine Challenge
Winemaker Notes
The 2019 Heritage Red is a bold blend of varietals from some of our favorite regions throughout Sonoma County, including Alexander Valley, Sonoma Coast and Chalk Hill AVAs. This wine offers rich aromas of blueberry, black tea, leather, spice and peppercorn. The palate is well balanced with concentrated
flavors of dark fruits and chocolate, raspberry, clove and graphite. The lingering flavors will leave you eagerly awaiting your next sip.

Production Notes
The 2019 growing season started later than usual in many California wine regions. A wet spring followed by cool temperatures allowed the grapes to mature gradually. Cool temperatures continued throughout the growing season resulting in longer hang time and lower sugar yields. Vintners are praising the full flavors, fresh acidity and superb balance of the 2019 vintage.
