2019 Acrobat Pinot Gris, Oregon
90 points, Wine Enthusiast
Pale straw in color, the 2019 Acrobat Pinot Gris shines through with bright, crisp flavors. Rose petal elements on the nose highlight aromas of apple, pear and orange blossom. Following the nose are flavors of crisp Fuji apple, pear and minerality. These mingle on the mid-palate, rounding out a medium-bodied mouthfeel with nice acidity and a refreshing, bright finish.

Production Notes
The 2019 vintage was fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, which were temperature controlled to maximize fruit character. This wine benefited from sur lie aging for four months prior to bottling.
Vineyard Notes
The 2019 vintage was noted for it's cool and wet September. This pinot gris was harvested early in September before the rains and attained that combination of balance that winemakers pursue: flavor at lower alcohol percentages. 2019 was a challenging harvest, however the resulting wines deliver a surprising freshness and acidity from this cooler vintage.
