2018 The Four Graces Doe Ridge Estate Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton
This 2018 Doe Ridge Estate Pinot Noir is a vibrant ruby color. On the nose, layered aromas of blackberries and crushed violets are complemented by a touch of dark chocolate and coffee. The palate delivers a smooth texture and rich flavors of dark berries, cocoa and earth. This dense and structured wine accurately highlights the ripeness of the fruit from the 2018 vintage.

Production Notes
The 2018 vintage started with a relatively mild spring with average rainfall. The most remarkable aspect of the growing season was the long and dry summer, one of the driest summers on record in the Willamette Valley. Fortunately, although we were drier than normal, daytime temperatures weren’t excessive and our vines in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA tolerate drought stress well. As we entered the fall
season and time to harvest, the dry conditions continued and we were able to pick our pinot noir exactly when we wanted during the first week of October.
