2018 Lincourt Annie Dyer Pinot Noir, Sta. Rita Hills
Our 2018 Annie Dyer Pinot Noir opens with aromas of ripe fruit, dark boysenberry and dried blue fruit with hints of cocoa. On the palate this Pinot is big, chewy and bold with classic Sta. Rita black pepper notes, espresso, hints of fresh brewed coffee and chocolate covered raspberries. It is rich, lush and lingers on the finish.

This wine features Pinot Noir clones Pommard, 459 and 777. After harvest, the fruit was cold soaked for four days and then fermented in open tops with regular punch downs to extract maximum color and flavor. It was aged for 16 months in 60% new French oak barrels.
As part of the original Spanish Land Grant, Rancho Santa Rosa Vineyard is one of Santa Barbara’s most historic properties. This beautiful south-facing hillside climbs from 500 to 1,000 feet above sea level.
