2018 Foley Sonoma Rosé of Pinot, Russian River Valley
With our third year of Rose production, we decided to showcase the beautiful, bright acidity of the Redwood Block vineyard at Trenton Station and a touch of the elegant, fresh Alexander Valley Grenache. A lovely pale salmon color in the glass, our 2018 Winemaker Series Rose offers lovely aromas of strawberry, raspberry and watermelon. These aromas carry through to the palate, which offers crisp acidity and a lingering juicy finish. Made for immediate consumption.

The Foley Sonoma Winemaker Series includes wines hand crafted and selected by winemaker, Courtney Foley. Each wine in the series embodies a distinct representation of terroir which is illustrated by the hand painted watercolors depicted on our labels. This Rosé of Pinot Noir is sourced from a hillside vineyard in the Russian River Valley perfectly suited for our Rosé wine. The watercolor artwork on our label illustrates the special sense of place of this Russian River Valley vineyard. The labels on our Winemaker Series illustrate and honor each vineyard. For the 2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir, we sourced from a hillside block known as "Redwood Block" from our family's Russian River Valley vineyard. This beautiful block is shielded from the sun by massive Redwood trees, which ensures that the fruit never gets sunburned, and preserves the grape's natural acidity. Once the fruit was harvested, it was fermented in stainless steel tanks.
