94 points -Tasting Panel Magazine
The Foley Sonoma Winemaker Series includes wines hand crafted and selected by the winemaker. Each wine in the series embodies a distinct representation of terroir which is illustrated by the hand painted watercolors depicted on our label. Our Alexander Valley estate vineyard is pictured here in red hues, demonstrating the warm weather and bold character to the area that is maintained in our Winemaker Series Cabernet Sauvignon.
Winemaker Notes
Our 2018 Winemaker Series Cabernet Sauvignon is a great representation of the Alexander Valley’s bold fruit with full-bodied and well-structured tannins. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, and toffee lead into a rich palate with flavors of blackberry, black cherry and dark chocolate. Thanks to the youthful tannins on the lingering finish, this wine will continue to age gracefully for 7-10 years.

Vineyard Notes
Fruit for our 2018 Winemaker Series Cabernet Sauvignon came from our estate vineyards in the Alexander Valley. Our Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon is planted on predominately clay soils, with east-west orientation, and enjoys wonderful, unencumbered sunshine throughout the growing season. A small amount of Petit Verdot, Tannat and Cabernet Franc from our estate were blended in to add more structure and character.
