2018 Chateau St. Jean Pinot Blanc, Alexander Valley
Shines with bright, crisp flavors. Rose petal elements highlight the aromas of apple, pear, and orange blossom. Flavors of crisp Fuji apple, pear, and minerality mingle on the mid-palate, rounding out a medium-bodied mouthfeel with nice acidity and a refreshing, bright finish.
Grapes for our Pinot Blanc were grown in Sonoma County's celebrated Alexander Valley whose fine alluvial soils are perfect for growing white grape varietals. Partially barrel fermented in French oak to impart a creamy, textured mouthfeel, the wine shows a rich balance of floral, apple and melon aromas which carry through on the palate.
