2017 Three Rivers Sauvignon Blanc, Columbia Valley
Winemaker Notes
Our intention with the Sauvignon Blanc was to highlight the
varietal aromatics and enhance mouthfeel. We chose three
specialty yeast strains to help amplify the aromatics and barrel
fermented to bring out a rounder mouthfeel. This 2017
Sauvignon Blanc has a floral palate with a refreshing acidity.
Aromas of kiwi, lemongrass and jasmine blossom give way to
Asian pear, followed by a clean and crisp finish.

Production Notes
2017 started on the same track as 2016: bud break occurred a bit
ahead of normal and was followed by a hot summer. The warm
summer months led into cooler conditions in September and
October. This resulted in deep intensity and balanced flavors. We
picked the Sauvignon Blanc on September 12th.
