2017 The Four Graces Reserve Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton
Winemaker Notes
This 2017 Yamhill-Carlton Reserve Pinot Noir displays enticing aromas of Douglas fir
tips, dried cherry and dark bramble fruit. The palate is deep and complex with notes of
dark chocolate and black pepper. The finish is long and lingering with mouth coating

Production Notes
The 2017 vintage started off with a colder than average winter, with multiple snow
storms. Spring was about average and bud break started in April. The summer season
was beautiful with warm days and cool nights. Temperatures remained moderate
throughout the summer months with only a few short heat waves. One of the most
notable events of the summer was the solar eclipse which took place on August 21st. Our
vineyard fell in the 95% totality zone. During the harvest, from September 25th –October
16th 2017, the conditions were mostly dry which allowed for great picking conditions.
Vineyard Notes
The Doe Ridge Estate, purchased and developed in 2005, is a 90-acre site and
considered one of the most innovative new vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Sourced
from Doe Ridge Estate Vineyard in Oregon’s Yamhill- Carlton District, this Pinot Noir
benefits from vine age and sustainable farming.
