2017 The Four Graces Doe Ridge Estate Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton
Winemaker Notes
This 2017 Doe Ridge Estate Pinot Noir is a vibrant ruby color. On the nose, earthy
aromas of river rock and wild mushrooms are complemented by a touch of dried cherry,
blackberry and forest floor. The palate delivers a smooth texture and layers of black tea,
white pepper and mushrooms.
Food Pairing Notes
With a full structure and long finish this wine pairs well
with pork loin or seared duck.

Production Notes
The 2017 vintage started off with a colder than average winter, with multiple snow
storms. Spring was about average and bud break started in April. The summer season was
beautiful with warm days and cool nights. Temperatures remained moderate throughout
the summer months with only a few short heat waves. One of the most notable events of
the summer was the solar eclipse which took place on August 21st. Our vineyard fell in
the 95% totality zone. During the harvest, from September 25th –October 16th 2017, the
conditions were mostly dry which allowed for great picking conditions.
