2017 Foley Sonoma Rosé of Pinot, Russian River Valley
Winemaker Notes
With our second year of Rosé production, we decided to showcase the beautiful, bright acidity of the Redwood
Block vineyard at Trenton Station. We picked some portions of the block earlier than others, and everything that
hung a little longer developed deeper cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavors. Youthful, slightly effervescent and
cheerful, this Rosé is made for poolside enjoyment and porch sipping, and pairs perfectly with seafood dishes.
Make haste in popping open a bottle, this wine is drinking wonderfully now.

Production Notes
The labels on our Winemaker Series illustrate and honor each vineyard. For the 2017 Rosé of Pinot Noir, we
sourced from a hillside block known as "Redwood Block" from our family's Russian River Valley vineyard. This
beautiful block is shielded from the sun by massive Redwood trees, which ensures that the fruit never gets
sunburned, and preserves the grape's natural acidity. We harvested the fruit on September 2, 2017, and
fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Vineyard Notes
The Foley Sonoma Winemaker Series includes wines hand crafted and selected by winemaker, Courtney Foley. Each wine in the
series embodies a distinct representation of terroir which is illustrated by the hand painted watercolors depicted on our labels. This
Rosé of Pinot Noir is sourced from a hillside vineyard in the Russian River Valley perfectly suited for our Rosé wine. The watercolor
artwork on our label illustrates the special sense of place of this Russian River Valley vineyard.
