2017 Foley Sonoma Chardonnay, Alexander Valley
90 Points - Robert Parker
Winemaker Notes
The Foley Sonoma Winemaker Series includes wines hand crafted and selected by our winemaker. Each wine in the series embodies a
distinct representation of terroir which is illustrated by the hand painted watercolors depicted on our labels. This Chardonnay is
sourced from a vineyard just across the street from our Estate. The watercolor artwork on our label illustrates the special sense of place
of this Alexander Valley vineyard. Our 2017 Winemaker Series Chardonnay is a full-bodied wine with aromas of honeydew melon, fresh citrus and
yellow pear. Flavors of baked apple and freshly made crème brûlée coat the palate with bright notes of Meyer
lemon. The vibrant and satisfying finish offers lingering minerality, leaving your taste buds ready for the next
sip.

Production Notes
After harvest, the fruit was fermented in
French oak barrels and aged for 11 months. Regular lees stirring after fermentation enhanced the concentration
and complexity of the flavors and aromatics.
