2017 Chalk Hill Chairman's Malbec
In the glass, our 2017 Malbec is a dark crimson color with expressive aromas of black cherry, smoked cedar, and a subtle feminine touch of warm vanilla. On the palate dark fruit flavors combined with spiced black pepper meld together providing the perfect balance of rich chewy tannins and a round silky textured finish.

Vineyard Notes
Our 2017 Malbec came from two blocks at our 56-acre Estate West vineyard located on a contiguous piece of property just across Chalk Hill Road from the winery. These west-facing sites feature clay, rock and loam soils that are perfect for Malbec.
