Our Petit Verdot Dessert Wine comes from two of my favorite blocks on the Estate. With healthy exposure to the morning sun, there is no denying the abundance of ripe fruit flavors such as dark plum and black figs. In order to reach its maximum fruit profile, this wine is best enjoyed decanted and paired with dark chocolate.

18 Months in Neutral Oak
The labels on our Winemaker Series illustrate and honor each vineyard. For this Petit Verdot Dessert Wine, we sourced the fruit from our very own Estate in Alexander Valley. Inheriting their names from their location on the Estate, our East and West Petit Verdot blocks excel in the warm sunshine that Alexander Valley cultivates. The unencumbered sunshine throughout the growing season allows the fruit to thoroughly ripen and produce the multi-layered and rich fruit essential for our Dessert Wine. After harvest, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel and then aged for 18 months in neutral oak.
