2016 Chalone Vineyard Estate Pinot Blanc, Chalone AVA
Our 2016 Pinot Blanc was fermented in stainless steel tanks using two strains of yeast (CY3079 and BA11). After fermentation, the wine was moved to seasoned, neutral French oak barrels for 8 months prior to bottling. The outcome is a wine yielding aromas and flavors of nectarine, apple, and orange zest supported by a backbone of wet rock minerality.
