2015 Guenoc Late Harvest Viognier, Guenoc Valley AVA (375ml)
This Late Harvest Viognier evokes images of apricots drizzled with caramelized honey, peach, jasmine and a touch of Asian pear. The palate is rich with notes of pear, and apricot infused honey on the forefront with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.
4 months in Neutral French oak
The 2015 growing season was early, light and of exceptional quality. Mild temperatures in the beginning of the season gave way to warmer summer days and cool nights that garnered wines of both complex tannin structure and bright acidity. Fermented in neutral French oak barrels for four months.
Guenoc Valley lies sixty miles north of San Francisco - a breathtaking panorama of oak-strewn grasslands, rolling green hills, craggy outcroppings and perfect volcanic cinder cones, painted with the shimmer of a dozen azure lakes. The 21,349-acre Langtry Estate is one of the largest contiguous private land holdings in California, and among the most beautiful.
