2015 Chalk Hill Chairman's Club Viognier, Chalk Hill AVA
2015 was another prime vintage with moderate temperatures throughout the spring and summer. Our 2015 Viognier is lush with notes of honeysuckle, and jasmine on the nose. These delicate floral aromas carry through to the palate playing beautifully with the wine’s earth tones of wet stone and sage, as well as nectarine and white peach. The first sip is as if you’re biting into a ripe peach with its creamy, rich, and viscous texture with vibrant acidity.
Food Pairing Notes
The wine’s rich flavors stand well alongside a pan roasted salmon with caramelized onion soubise, charred cauliflower, and lemon curd to provide a perfect balance.

Viognier is well suited to Chalk Hill Estate. Our climate is warm enough to fully ripen this Rhone native, yet cool enough to ensure structure and liveliness. Our Viognier comes from the P Lyre Block on our estate. This site allows the grapes to reach their optimal ripeness and are picked and handled with great care during the winemaking process.
