2014 Three Rivers Syrah, Walla Walla Valley
This 2014 Walla Walla Valley Syrah is a beautiful purple color. The palate is rich and succulent, filled with flavors of black pepper, soy sauce, and raspberry that lead to a well-balanced vanilla and spice finish.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair this wine with a bison tenderloin and roasted root vegetables for a sure treat! Or, Pan Seared Venison, Roasted Purple Potatoes and Chioggia Beets - Sauce Cumberland This mind-blowing Syrah features deep hues and even deeper flavors. It is intensely laced with dark berries, red currants and black pepper which pairs well with the pan seared Venison. The potatoes and beets compliment the dark fruits in this Syrah’s palate and smoky finish. -Robert Smith, Master Sommelier

The 2014 growing season was the warmest vintage recorded in Washington State. A very hot and dry summer lead us to an early harvest. We picked the Syrah and Petit Verdot for this elegant wine between September 25 and October 6, 2014 when the weather cooled off a bit and allowed us to take our time picking.
