2014 Three Rivers Malbec, Columbia Valley
This full bodied Malbec is rich and luscious. It is filled with vibrant aromas of brambleberry, currant, and coffee with a juicy mouthful of berries. An expressive example of Malbec and in my opinion simply lovely.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair this tasty treat with a charcuterie board.
September 15 and September 23, 2014
17 months in French, Hungarian, and American Oak; 25% new
The 2014 growing season was the warmest vintage recorded in Washington State. A very hot and dry summer lead us to an early harvest. We picked the grapes for this wine between September 15 and September 23, 2014 when the weather cooled off a bit and allowed us to take our time picking. The Malbec ripened to perfection due to the fact that this varietal thrives in heat.
