2014 Roth Reserve Trenton Road Vineyard Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
The 2014 Trenton Road Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from the Russian River Valley. With its gravelly, well-drained soil and cooling, Pacific climate, this region is ideal for growing Pinot Noir. This is an elegant Pinot Noir with floral and Bing cherry aromas at the forefront. Smooth layers of cherry cola, red currant, raspberry, and baking spices are tied together with subtle tannins to bring forth a seamless and well-rounded finish.
Food Pairing Notes
As the warmer weather of spring and summer greet us, we find ourselves enjoying the outdoors by hiking, biking, relaxing and of course barbequing with friends and family! Luckily, we have just the right pairing for your next barbeque. Our 2014 Trenton Road Vineyard Pinot Noir is mouthwatering alongside smoked barbeque pork loin sliders with sweet potato fries. The cherry, and raspberry red fruit flavors in the wine are balanced by baking spices and currant notes that enhance the smokiness of the pork. It’s going to be a delicious spring and summer! - Robert Smith, Master Sommelier
