2013 Three Rivers Malbec-Merlot, Columbia Valley
Gold Medal Winner - 2016 Seattle Wine Awards.
Malbec and Merlot are just one of those blends that work so well on so many levels. The combination of flavors, textures and aromatics creates a wine that is delicious, age worthy and complex. This 2013 Malbec-Merlot is filled with aromas and flavors of chocolate covered strawberries, juicy black fruit, espresso, and a hint of earthiness.
Food Pairing Notes
The rich finish makes this a perfect pairing for seared blackened halibut or any meaty whitefish.

2013 was the warmest vintage since 2003 in Washington State. A hot summer led us to start picking in late August. We finished picking the latter part of October as the weather cooled and allowed us to take our time. Bright flavors and acidity were achieved in this ideal vintage.
