2013 The Four Graces Doe Ridge Estate Pinot Noir, Yamhill-Carlton
Winemaker Notes
Swirl this translucent ruby Pinot Noir and breathe in lovely aromas of red currant,
rose petals, lavender and a hint of eucalyptus. Flavors of sweet dark cherry,
pomegranate and anise start silky smooth, and thanks to an interesting interplay
between tannins and acids, finishes on a pleasingly zesty high note.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair this reserve beauty with grilled salmon or pork tenderloin with a cherry glaze.

Production Notes
2013 was an excellent growing season but unprecedented rainfall, the residual
from a Pacific typhoon, hit before harvest. While a lot of fruit was lost, what was
left made a beautiful, classically Oregon Pinot Noir. The 2013 Yamhill Carlton is
characteristic of its terroir—age-worthy and well-structured.
Vineyard Notes
Over 15 months in French oak has contributed a velvety softness to the mouth
feel without masking the lovely red to black fruit characteristics. Sourced from
Doe Ridge Estate Vineyard in Oregon’s Yamhill-Carlton District, this Pinot Noir
benefits from vine age and sustainable farming. The Yamhill Carlton AVA is one of
six American Viticultural Areas in the Willamette Valley.
