Aromas of dark cherry, dried herbs, and dusty oak. Concentrated flavors of red currant, dark cherry, dark chocolate, and spicy cedar with a hint of vanilla. Soft and approachable tannins.

Ratings
92 Points - Wine Enthusiast. “Sweet, woody tannin supports a bright layering of red cherry in this youthfully ripe bottling, blended with 16% Merlot and smaller additions of Petit Verdot and Malbec. Cedar and graphite accent the fruit-forward palate, with flourishes of dark chocolate on the finish.”
Winemaker Notes
Our 2013 Rutherford, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon (81%) with small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec that are added to help round out the wine. This 2013 boasts aromas of dark cherry, dried herbs, and dusty oak. It expands on the palate giving way to concentrated flavors of red currant, dark cherry, dark chocolate, and spicy cedar with a hint of vanilla. With soft and approachable tannins, this wine is ready to drink now and will age beautifully over the years to come.
