Opens with trademark earthiness of the Carneros site, with aromas of Maraschino cherry, clove and Asian spices. The palate is medium-bodied with bright, juicy flavors of cranberry and raspberry followed by notes of vanilla and toast.
Rich and complex. Dark chocolate covered cherries are followed by a round, lush palate of blueberry and blackberry notes. Rich cocoa then evolves into charred French oak, followed by a hint of espresso.
