Firestone was the first major estate winery established in the Santa Ynez Valley. Our 325 acres of historic vineyards lie approximately 26 miles from the cold Pacific Ocean creating a moderate, arid climate and extremely long growing season. In recent years we have developed proprietary viticulture protocols that take full advantage of the complex soils and many exposures on our estate. Our unique growing conditions and intense farming techniques yield wines that are concentrated, elegant and firmly structured. Firestone Vineyards is planted with Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Syrah varietals.
Firestone Vineyard Red Wines
Alluring and sophisticated. Memorably lush aromas of black cherry, spiced plum, violets and cedar with flavors of cocoa, espresso and clove. An impressive tannin-acid structure makes this an age-worthy wine.
This garnet ruby red wine has aromas of dark plum and black cherry with notes of tobacco and coffee. It has a firm tannin structure which carries dusty notes of blueberry and blackberry along with hints of espresso and baking spice.
The 2017 Firestone Malbec expresses aromas of roasted white pepper spiced plum, tobacco and toasted brioche. The palate expresses flavors of roasted red fruit, premium oak and balanced acidity.
The 2019 Firestone Rosé expresses aromas of cherries, citrus, roses and mandavilla flowers. The palate further expresses these red fruit characters, complemented by its bright acidity.
The 2018 Firestone Vineyard The Chairman Series Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits cherry, plum and spicy black tea aromas on the nose, which lead to a rich palate with soft tannins, balanced acidity and a toasty oak finish.
Aromas of roasted plum and espresso with hints of boysenberry. The palate reflects flavors of lush red fruit and rich espresso with a touch of pipe tobacco. Toasty oak and balanced acidity tie the whole package together.
Deep ruby in color, the 2017 Firestone Cabernet Franc expresses aromas of roasted spiced plum, tobacco and toasted brioche. On the palate, it is juicy and bright with flavors of red fruit, premium oak and balanced acidity.

Alluring aromas of black cherries, dark plum and violets best describe our estate Petit Verdot. Your palate will be delighted with notes of blueberries, pipe tobacco and barrel spices. This wine is rich with firm tannins and a long finish.
Rich and intense with aromas of blackberry and black cherries. Flavors of cassis, dark roast coffee and vanilla laced with nutmeg and allspice. Opulent texture and tannin weight round out the palate.
